Monster Villager!

I've finally decided on a theme for my town, it's going to be dangerous/adventure! Specifically I'm going for like, an island full of wild overgrown forests and jungles, spiky fences, lots of little twists and turns where anything could be waiting for you. Not scary or horror, but with a feeling of danger.

As such I've decided my villager theme will be monsters! I've picked out most of them already but I'm really struggling to think of a good normal villager who will fit the theme.

All of my other villagers have big fangs (Bella, Katt) tusks or large teeth (Tucker, Boris, Alli) horns (Spike) it are just generally big and brutish (Hans) but the normal villagers don't really fit with the others.

I've picked a few that might fit, I was also thinking of Gayle but I don't want two crocodiles and I'm quite set on Alli.

Coco I think is the best pick, but I don't think she really goes with the other "monsters" as she's more scary because she mysterious than scary because she's a big bad monster. What do you guys think? The others I've picked are either big or have horns which might fit. I'm leaning towards Vesta or Coco right now, feel free to make other suggestions too with an explanation I could consider!

I voted for Coco, because of all those I think she fits the theme best. I think Ellie or Rhonda could also be good choices though, because they're big villagers from species that fit the theme. Rhonda has kind of scary eyes too, in my opinion.

Honestly the best candidate to me would be Drago, he's technically an alligator, but he's based of an asian dragon.

But if you're deadset for a Normal, probably Coco or Kiki; black cats are usually depicted as signs of bad luck, not just in a horror sense, but as a sign that danger is coming.

I have been considering both Rodeo and Drago for my last spare slot, they're both really cool and definitely fit the theme! And yeah even though Drago is an alligator he looks different enough that I'd be happy to have him and Alli in the town.

I didn't think about that, that's a good idea for Bertha! I could have her by a lake!


For those wondering, the villagers I've picked so far are Alli, Katt, Bella, Boris, Spike, Tucker, Hans, Sterling (to fight the monsters! I've made a safe area where the shop and his house are.) So I have space for a normal and a spare space for another of any type

I'm so glad someone else thinks so. When I first saw him in a picture someone posted, I was just shocked. He has red eyes! Then his dark grey fur also adds to the creepiness because I look at him and think some demonic ghost bull. I would love to see more villagers like him.

Coco is pretty creepy and so I voted for her but I believe that Lucky is probably the best monster. Out of every villager, Lucky is the one that screams Halloween the most. He is literally based on a mummy and there is a fan theory that Lucky is the undead version of Walker.

Just so you guys know, I did pick Coco in the end to complete my monster collection. And for my spare slot I've gone with Drago

Thanks for all your suggestions, I'm sticking with the other monsters I picked but it's nice to see some other options too if I want to change it up my theme being more barbarian monsters (think orcs) rather than spooky made me initially not want to pick Coco but I think she'll work well in my jungle
