Ahhhhh Marshall is one of my 2 main dreamies (the other being Ankha) so I am definitely in on this auction! I have one question though. He is not in boxes, so will you be time travelling to get him ready to finally leave? When will your auction end?

Yes! He isn't in boxes but he's in my town. I use the foolproof cycling method which means I can get a villager in boxes with every three saves. I can't guarantee it will be Marshal though.
Cycling is kind of postponed today so hopefully I can get him into boxes either tomorrow or the day after if I can get autovoids out, can't be sure though.

That puts me in a little bit of a tight spot. I only have one villager space left in my town. There are 2 auctions for Ankha which I am bidding on that both end today. I would really like either Ankha or Marshal in my town. Marshal is my preference because I want a Smug villager to replace Curlos who I want to kick out.

If you are able to end your auction today, and maybe even cycle forward and get him in boxes, then I will definitely go with Marshal. Otherwise I'll have to bow out sadly You can PM me if you decide to go finish today, but if not, it's ok

I'll make my bid 300 TBT's in the meantime.

Oh, sorry for not being clear, lol. At the moment, I have 9 villagers. Either Ankha or Marshal will be the 10th one. Nobody has pinged to move out yet, but I am going to try and force either Curlos, Flo or Annalisa out by ignoring them from now.

I need to keep Flo because she is an Uchi and I need her to recommend me some PWP's. Curlos is my only smug villager and I also need him for PWP's. Ideally, though, I would get Marshal as my 10th villager. I then have 2 smug villagers and I can ignore Curlos for a week or two until he pings to move out. It'll be a like for like swap.

Otherwise if I get Ankha, I have to stick it out with Curlos until Annalisa pings to move out

I need the TBT, and frankly, no one's taking an interest in the cycling thread I've worked so hard to make. I've only had two villagers adopted from the town, and that was only after hours and hours of waiting.
I'm sick and tired of waiting because I'm impatient, I really don't want to do it but this isn't an auction if no one bids.
Of course, I could give him away but I need the TBT and that's the reason I set up the cycling thread.

Sorry if I sounded greedy, but I'm extremely desperate and it just seems my hard work is being ignored.

I'd just take the TBT I could get if I were you. I've had to sell T1 villagers for less than 200 TBT, it doesn't always work out as good as you want it to. Not to mention, this thread is in the TBT Marketplace, where people only rarely go to find villagers, as they're more likely to look in the VTP. To top it all off, he's also being auctioned during one of the times where people are scrambling to get collectibles, so they may be putting off bidding on villagers or buying items with TBT until that period is over.

I know, that's what I'm aiming for. But there are two bidders now, maybe not even that since the first could have potentially backed out, and that's not enough for an auction. I'd take the first bidder's bid, but as there's no buyout, I'd like to give people a chance and no one seems to be biting.
I'd create another thread but I prefer this one for convenience's sake, I've posted over 7 times with this link and I'm not wasting anymore of my effort on this.
There is no one actively pursuing any of my villagers. There hasn't been anyone actively pursuing any of my villagers. I feel like I'm wasting my time on this cycling business, because it seems like I don't cycle enough but I'd prefer giving people the opportunity to get a villager than autovoid.

I've stressed this, but like I've said, there are two/one bidder/s and I'm losing faith in myself.
The main reason is the unsuccessful attempt at starting a cycling town. I got some pretty good villagers but I was stuck waiting for around 12 hours for even an offer for Merengue.
Likewise, if I did give him away, I need the TBT and while that's incredibly selfish of me, I've camped for restocks and come out with zilch because of the TBT I have and that's why I started a cycling thread: to earn currency.
Of course I have more than enough now, but there's one person that keeps harassing me to buy their collectibles and I would seem like a jerk not to say yes: so all the TBT is to put my mind at rest.
