Mark my words, we will get an update announcement within a week!

I'm almost certain it will be within a week, to coincide with the end of the Wedding Event. The start of July would be the perfect time to introduce Diving amongst other features, such as a 2nd Nook's Cranny upgrade, more Summer-themed events, and hopefully some new facilities for our islands.

My prediction is that we'll get the announcement next Tuesday the 30th June, with the update set for the Thursday 2nd July.

Technically, it will be the third Nook's Cranny upgrade (4th, if you include them moving out of Resident Services), and hopefully Nintendo announces that Leif and Saharah are setting up shop on a second floor of the establishment. I also hope they reintroduce diving, which would be a great way to add depth (pun intended) to the museum.

As to when they're going to announce it, I will go with this Friday, with a June 30 push date.

I agree! The Wedding Event lasting the whole month feels off - almost as if it was originally supposed to be a two-week event, but they decided to extend it because they needed more time to work on the Summer update. We'll see!

Right? It makes perfect sense. I've seen a few people suggest August - that seems really late into the Summer to push out an update!

The Fireworks are one of the things I'm looking forward to most - I hope we get some new music for the Fireworks Festival. I'm sure we will, it makes sense.

I'd suggest taking a break for a short while. Then when the update does come you'll be ready to jump back into it. I wouldn't recommend resetting, personally!

I hope the animals can swim too! I don't see why it would be too difficult for them to create animations for the villagers to paddle around in the water.
