Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash general discussion

I love tennis but this game just seems like they didn't add any new things beside the mega mushroom and rushed it for the holidays.
The game does have Waluigi tho so that's a plus.

EDIT: Just saw the new trailer for the game and it has online multiplayer and amiibo support. It looks awesome now.

Well Nintendo did release a new trailer telling us that there will be various extra modes recently.
Oh that's good, do you know if this game will have online?
It will and how! You will be able to use amiibo online as well! Wait i will post a link here to a thread where i posted the details.

I also like how you train amiibo like you do in smash bros. That makes me want to buy the amiibo even more.
It is so good, the feature to use them online is a huge plus compared to the Smash Bros. functionality imo. That is what i wanted since the release of Smash Bros. Oh and i have all the Mario and related amiibo so i should be prepped for this game!
I think that i will have to delete the Smash data on the amiibo if i want to use them but i would be glad to do so. I would still have around 20 amiibo with Smash data left after doing so and i only need 8 really.

I agree with the amiibos online thing. That makes it a lot better than Smash Amiibo functionality.
I'm really hyped for this game now. I hope Bell Tree hosts like a Mario Tennis game night or something. That would be awesome!
Yeah that would be cool! And if they do not then i can always try to create an event if needed. I love to host things like that ^^

The amiibo functionality convinced me lol. I need to find a use for them since i feel like i wasted 500 euros on nothing right now...
I just remembered how cool the Mario Power Tennis Opening was and now I hope this game has a cool opening like that!

I don't think I'll get this game... I only played the Wii version of Mario Power Tennis once or twice, and I was terrible online on Mario Tennis open...
