Malls: What do you think of them? Do you visit them often?

Malls, what do you think of them?

I like going to my local mall mostly around the holiday shopping season. I also enjoy looks at the Hallmark ornaments every year. The mall also is my second GameStop which I go to if my main store doesn’t have what I want or are closed because they have different hours.

Take me to the confetti spore mall. But seriously though, I don't really like going to malls or commercial centres very much. I prefer the outdoor ones but most where I live have indoor ones.

Malls are fine, I haven't been to one in a while and when I do go I really don't spend much time there. Most of the stores only sell cheap crap anymore so it's not really worth it to buy anything. I have a few shirts I got from Hot Topic over a decade ago that hold up much better than stuff I bought only a few years ago. It's a shame.

I miss going to Malls, many of the ones that were near me have already shut down since the late 2000s/early to mid 2010s or almost completely lifeless.

The closest is an outdoor one, but it's a bit far from my house.

i used to like malls a lot when i was younger and going with my parents. nowadays i don't really find myself gravitating towards going to mall. maybe sometimes my friends and i would stroll around before the movies or while waiting for our table at a restaurant but that's really it.

when i do find malls to be interesting is when i'm travelling. i don't care much for my local malls but i find malls in other countries or states to be very fascinating, but perhaps that's more cause i'm travelling/exploring rather than liking malls themselves.

I don't go to them often, but malls are honestly one of my favourite places to be! There's something oddly comforting and nice about being in the same place doing the same thing as a bunch of people; you're all strangers with your own individual lives, and you'll probably never cross paths with any of them again, but for a while you're in the same place and doing the same things, and you're connected in that way. That probably sounded weird and made no sense LOL, but when I want to feel less alone and more connected with others, going to the mall helps.

Even if I don't buy anything, I always enjoy just walking around and looking in my favourite stores. In-person shopping has always been more fun to me than online shopping since I get to actually see what I'm interested in, and if I'm buying clothes or shoes, I can try them on to make sure they're comfy and I like how I look in them before buying. It saves me from having to potentially return stuff later.

I especially love going to the mall during Christmas! The atmosphere is just lowkey comforting despite how much more crazy and crowded it is, and I love seeing all the decorations!

You'll never catch me in a mall on Black Friday, Boxing Day or when any other sale is going on, though... the vibes are evil then.
