O.O The silly hat WORKED!!!

I put it on thinking that it probably wouldn't help but I'd wear a tartan tutu if someone suggested it just in case and I finally broke the dry spell!!! It worked and I'm amazed!

This is all really good to know. I have been playing New Leaf since the NA release and I was wondering why I haven't had a single four leaved clover yet!

There are many clovers in my town. Every time I pull some it takes awhile for them to spawn back, but if I take too many at one time they rarely spawn. I am not sure if luck is really involved. I've heard rumors that your luck of finding one goes up if you have a rainbow in the sky in your town. As far as I have noticed a lucky clover is generated in your town, not picked by luck. I have even used reset tricks to test this out, and whenever I pick a clover that I know is a not or is a lucky clover, it always turns out the same with every reset (I reset before I save I have picked them). Note I use different saved characters I test this out with every go but I don't want to confirm because there might be a way to change it. I might try out today with not loading my town first with saved characters and just resets.

Haha, I remember getting it from Katrina on a bad luck day, putting it on and just thinking "I'm not wearing this". It looks ridiculous.
I hope I can get the celebration hat from her at one point. It's not much better, but I'd enjoy wearing that more than the Tingle hood.

I've only ever found one clover and I've had the game since it came out lol I've also never reset my town and play almost every day, I will try the hat idea because I love the book/clover it shows up as as furniture.

That Tingle Hood is pretty unique though...

Reordering the celebration hat is actually cheaper than the Tingle hood. I think it's like 1200 for the Tingle hood, whereas the celebration hat is only 240.

SO I'm back to getting one lucky clover with every 5 cycles. I don't know if it's chance or not... but for anyone visiting my cycling town.... keep your snickers to yourself. I have a leprechaun's yard to decorate and need any edge that I can get.
