Lucky Clovers

Four Leaf Clovers spawn about 1-40 according to the wiki. I collect them in my cycling town for an interesting design around my leprechaun's house. One would seem to spawn every five cycles, so I'd let them build up to that point and go clover hunting.

When one didn't spawn a few days ago I thought, oh well law of averages. Then five more cycles passed and none. In fact, I haven't had one spawn in days, ever since I played the weeding game with Leif. Have I done something wrong? Has anyone heard that weeding with Leif affects the rate of clover spawns? Does anyone know tips to increase the rate of clover spawns? Is there a limit? Hoping someone can help.

It will help if you wear one of Katrina's lucky hats. It negates bad luck days and increases good luck on lucky days. The hats are the Celebration hat and the Tingle hood.

Good to know, I haven't unlock Katrina's shop yet, so I'll have to buy one off the forums I guess - any idea how much they go for?

Well on my regular town I did not find any, ever... but in the cycling town the weeds build up because you're TT'ing for a year at a time. I was just shocked I guess when the clovers stopped.

In my cycling town I do not have the beautiful town ordinance enacted. I count one cycle as 2 years + 5 days. So prior to playing the game with Leif I'd seem to get 1 lucky clover every 10 years, 25 days. Please note, I have no PWP's or flowers in my cycling town and I've cut down a lot of the trees to make space for the plots. Plenty of space for the weeds and clovers to grow.

I haven't found a single one, and I've played nearly everyday since NA release. What gives? I'm not in need of one, but I felt they used to be a lot more common to come across in previous versions of the game.

I've played since EU release and have found three in my main town. Just luck of the draw, I guess.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm probably going to just buy a bunch on the ReTail/Marketplace because this is silly.

I definitely feel like they're more common in previous games, at least in WW. I've gone to at least 5 different cycling towns for weeding events, and there have been tons of clovers, but I haven't even been able to find a single one, even though there are usually hundreds of weeds. Whereas a few months ago, I visited my old WW town which I haven't played for years and also had lots of weeds. I just picked up a few clovers by chance and several turned out to be lucky clovers.

I've found one so far. I have lots of clover patches over my town but I don't know if any are lucky or not. I'm letting them grow for now as they don't count as weeds and they look pretty. My second town has loads of weeds and clover patches so I might pull up some of those. I used to get loads in wild world, guess I was pretty lucky back then, or they were more common.

A very kind user let me weed their town before they reset last night. Out of probably 350 clovers I found 3 Lucky ones. Whyyyyy. D:

At that rate, the only way I can complete my town paths is to buy them in ridiculous numbers from others. .-.

this is ridiculous as hell i haven't found ONE of these stupid clovers yet.
I mean I've had absurd luck in the Pokemon games with shinies and I've yet to find a single clover in New Leaf.
And I am only looking for just two of them at best.

I collect them too in my cycling town. I usually wait for them to be over run & then do a huge picking lol. Once I got 3 in a row & then other times, I don't get a single one after clearing my whole town.
