Old thread, but I had Dobie in one of my New leaf towns when they brought it him back via Welcome Amiibo. I was trying to fill my town, and hadn't quite decided on my 10 dreamies yet.

I had Dobie's amiibo card as part of a package that I bought, and thought, meh, let's scan him in and give him a shot, he's not THAT bad looking.

I was SO happy I decided to add him to my town! He became a permanent resident, and even though he's a cranky little guy, I can't help but love him because he's just a disgruntled old grandpa

Everyone is saying Dobbie because you already have the young ones on your island but I feel like Lobo fits in quite nicely with the other crowd and I like cohesiveness. And I really like him, he’s one of the OG ones. I would try to get the gang together if it were me.

I’m biased toward Dobie because he’s a writer (in HHP) and is roommates with Bob in my Happy Home Paradise. I also find the cranky ones oddly endearing.

Dobie 100 percent! I have him and Gaston on my island, im going to make them cranky neighbors in the woods lol. I imagine them as the 2 old dudes from the Muppets.

I prefer Dobie, he is a unique cranky wolf compared to the others, they look nearly the same.

An old friend of mine on the forums who is no longer with us gifted me a Lobo collectible, many years ago. And ever since then, I've always always loved Lobo. He's just so sentimental to me ;w;
