Least favorite personality?

Same here, but in reverse. I find peppy villagers incredibly obnoxious. I'm not the biggest fan of jock villagers, but at least they're pretty consistent. Every time I talk to Kid Cat, I can expect that it'll be about his muscles or his workout today. When I had a peppy villager (Bangle), she irritated me to NO end. She picked fights with other villagers and was constantly talking about becoming a famous pop star. She was condescending, too. Glad she decided to leave.

jock for me too. i love dom to death, but hes one of the only jocks i can stand. mostly bc of how cute his design is

Smugs. Some of them feel...creepy to me. I just don’t like them.

AGREED. Literally the only reason I'm putting up with normal villagers is their cute character design. Other than that they bore me to death and I can barely bring myself talking to them.
At least in the earlier games (Wild World) they were kinda quirky with a sometimes hilariously ridiculous humour. (Like pretending to have an invisible friend and trying out new hairstyles on their mop LOL) I miss that!
Now they just sound like friendly robots :/
At least the other personality types manage to crack me up occasionally

It's a tie between Jock and Lazy for this game. Lazy seems like it's been so dumbed down to the point of me hating it, and I'm not too into Jocks at all tbh,.

Its tied with Peppy and Jock for me. I still want to have one of each on my island. But right now I have both Flora and Pompom and its toooo much. They both seem to lean wayyyyy to heavily into their "things" of working out and being a popstar.

Jocks would be my least favorite if I had to pick one but my problem with this question is I actually love all of the personalities! It almost feels weird to vote for them on the poll because it's like I'm saying I don't like them, but I do! I just wish their personality didn't seem so much like a caricature in this game--Teddy, no, it is not muscular of me to give you a gift. Come on. That makes no sense. Don't tell me you're flexing your gratitude muscles, just say you appreciate the gift, oh my god.

I don't think jocks are so bad. I think in new horizons they've gotten cuter and more tolerable. That "brosaphine" thing was cringe in new leaf? Or was it pocket camp.. Unless, maybe, idk. im biased because dom is my fave, even if I think he should have been lazy instead.
I think I dislike uchi the most. They're a bit odd.. But they're cute regardless, as all villagers are to me.

I feel like the dialogue in New Horizons for all villager types is kind of.. Bland, overall. I'd argue it'd be harder for me to pick a favorite personality than a least favorite in this game. Oops.
It's all super repetitive-- I feel like it was more diverse in the previous games?? Some previous posters mentioned Moppina (the hairstyled mop the Normal villagers had as a pretend friend lmao), and dang I miss convos like that. I feel like Jocks give the same dialogue about biceps, Lazies are always talking about their bugs (yall we need to get an exterminator fr), Normals.. Actually, I can't really recall anything of note that they've said. Oops. Peppies are always screaming about being super popstars. I can't really remember much from my Uchi and Smug villagers. I feel like Crankies and Snooties are the only ones I've had some somewhat-diverse conversations with them. I've got two Crankies and they've both said different things to me.
