Is this an update, or am I going crazy?

So by this point we probably all seen that there is going to be an update for new leaf. It will apparently have amiibo communication. But what i want to know is was there already a small update nobody noticed but me? It feels like some of the jokes it says when you catch a bug or fish are different. I would know because all of the cheesy puns are burned into my mind. Sooooo, is this new or am I just imagining things? Also did you guys see this?

Havent seen any difference at all. Looks the same to me. I have the American version btw, dont know if in another parts of the world have been updated, but why would they change the jokes and puns? Doesnt make sense to me...

Im in Europe and haven't noticed anything either....and I haven't downloaded any update for it recently as there doesn't appear to be one available yet.

I'm pretty sure everything is the same... Nintendo said the update comes out in fall but all I'm wondering is what do they mean by fall? Do they mean like early fall like August? Or September or November?

For a few weeks I did notice that my campsites in two of my towns were very busy. Two campers in a row, no camper and than two campers in a row. Skipped another day and than they were campers again. Got my first Sunday camper.

Cicadas have different subtext when caught if raining, but that's about it. No update has been pushed as no one has been prompted to update.
