Is the Robot Hero worth crafting?

This is one of those furniture pieces that the only people that have it already are those who mass dupe stuff. If you're doing it legitimate, it'd be worth it for the satisfaction that you powered through it to do it cheat-free. Honestly, what were they thinking with all the materials it needs?

30 rusty parts and you get 1 per Gulliver visit. So you need to have Gulliver come 30 times or abandon him 6 times. That's still a lot. They were practically asking for people to dupe/TT lol.

I only have like 5 or 6 rusted parts I've found since I started the game. I have no idea how you could build one without duping or buying the rusted parts! I really don't have any interest in building one, I'll probably end up selling the parts at some point. To me, it feels unattainable and not worth it!

It took a lot for me, and then even more to customize all 8 colors of them. But I like the way it looks on my island, having all 8 forms of the robot hero lined up.

(Am selling 10 rusted parts for 25 TBT if anyone is interested).

I think of the Robot Hero the same way I think of blue roses. To me, it’s definitely an goal in the game to craft it even though I could just trade for one pretty easily. The only thing I would trade for would be the rusted parts

For me at least, i'd say yes, because it just looks so cool. Sure, it can look a bit out of place in some areas, but I don't really care about that because I can have a gigantic animated robot on my island lmao. Works well with the monster statue as well, if I wasn't lazy then I would've crafted at least 2 of them by now and set up a little robot vs monster godzilla fighting area.

I'm kind of thinking of putting it in my amusement park but then it may not fit my aesthetic plus I've seen many people selling this (dupe or legit). I feel like it's becoming common even if it needs a lot of work to do so I really don't know if I still want it.

Yes the grind for the items is great and it looks amazing when you place it! It was a really good accomplishment for me ^^

Luckily I don't like how it looks so I never bothered.

I got a lot of rusted parts by farming Gullivarrr with my 2 accounts. I bought the first robot hero with bells though.

I've been getting parts from trades mainly. It's one of those things I want to craft once and have no idea what to do with once I have it.

Gullivarr also leaves rusty parts the next day, so should take half as long to make with the new update's NPC change

My friend really wants one so I've just been checking the recycle bin for rusted parts daily.

I managed to gather 11 parts so far. Not sure what he has in total.

I think it's unfair to say the people who have it legitimately are people who dupe the items. You could also get the parts from trades or from time traveling. Time travel is a legitimate way to play even if it's not your preferred way to play.

I've heard that if you don't give Gullivaarr his communicator, you'll find 5 rusty parts in your recycling the next day. I don't know if this is true, because I've only seen him once and I can't resist his awesome pirate furniture.

It's the same for both Gullivars. You just dig them up and they rust in your inventory the next day.
