Is It Important to You to Keep a Perfect Town Rating?

So I haven't gotten a perfect town rating in my new town yet because I don't have enough PWPs built yet. For my DA I'm planning on having a bunch of bunny day eggs and gyroids and things scattered around town, and I kind of like the look of it even outside of for a DA, but it all counts as trash.

So I may keep them off the ground until I get my perfect town rating once so I can get the PWPs from it, but after that I think I'm gonna lay them all out again and ignore the whole perfect town rating thing?

Do you guys care about the perfect town rating or keeping it going consistently?

I've also heard fruit baskets count against a perfect town rating as trash on the ground too, and they're also something i'm planning on having on the ground for my DA, but i'm not sure if this is true

I like to keep it for the Jacob's Ladders, but after I've collected what I need, I don't worry about perfect town status anymore.

Not too important to me , as long as my town looks cute it's okay! Sometimes i have to drop things in my town so items build up, but i clean it often!

In Scrolwrk, it's not important because the town was made to have weeds in one area, so I'll never get perfect status in that town, which is fine by me.

In Serenade, it doesn't matter but it is nice. I tend to keep that town well kept, and it has a lot of trees and flowers and pwps to maintain the status anyway. I just don't get any Jacob Ladders because I already have some planted. But then again, Serenade is supposed to look nice, so a perfect town status would be nice, but it's whatever.

I like to have a perfect town and try not to do anything to spoil it. I leave a lot of stuff lying around as I play but I go round and pick it all up before the end of the day.

A: No. It isn't important to me to keep a Perfect Town rating. I'm fine with just having a town looking the way that I want it to be. The game is a lot more fun that way for myself. My current town is still kind of new at the moment. I've been figuring out where I want to put things in my town at the moment. So... I have like a bunch of patterns and random flowers kind of everywhere. Hahaha. Lol. I'm working on it... :T

The only time I really care about keeping a perfect town rating is for obtaining the Golden Watering Can as well as the Jacob's Ladders, and other PWPs you get when you obtain Perfect Town status. After that I could care less and go nuts with my town!

Oh, and if you're having trouble with Isabelle saying "Not enough PWPs". If you still don't get it after you've built a large amount of them (15-20), then you may have to check your tree limit or something like that. I've cut down a good amount of trees (enough for me to get the village reputation of being a "stump maker") and that's when I finally achieved Perfect Town status after months! I don't understand why but Isabelle doesn't really have any other suggestions other than "The town looks like a landfill, that's the villager's words not mine" or "The town needs more PWPS!" so it can be tricky to achieve that status!

Once I got the flower clock, town hall remodel and the golden can (even if I don't use it lol), I stopped caring. And oh, after getting a healthy amount of Jacob's Ladders too. I'm still in perfect town though.

Same!! Like I have the golden watering can and a nice amount of jacobs ladders tbh (i just need the flower clock and the town hall upgrade) but even once i have my last few things I just get anxious when isabelle says my villagers dont like my town omg

Like with all the gyroids and eggs lying around and she says there's too much trash
When I did my giveaway isabelle said villagers said they felt like they were living in a landfill and i was like OMG NOOO

It's always a delight to suddenly find a Jacob's ladder so I'd say I find it pretty important. Having a perfect town rating also reassures me that the villagers actually enjoy living in my town.

I dunno if it'd be easy to keep a perfect town rating or not, because usually I've never gotten the perfect town rating in New Leaf...and never once gotten the gold watering can. *shuffles off in shame*

For me it’s kinda difficult just because I can’t get Isabelle past saying there’s not enough PWPs lol I just wanna get the perfect town rating already so I can put all my lil gyroids back

I've kept my rating, but it isn't a conscious thing. I guess I'm just one of those people who don't leave things on the ground. I have a few mushrooms near my waterfall seating area, but I have enough flowers to offset it, so it doesn't impact me.

When I do my final DA, I'll put out some things, but once it's registered, I'll clear it up again.

Up until the point one of my towns reaches perfect, I don't really care at all. Once one of the towns achieves it, I try to maintain it so that I can accumulate more Jacob's Ladders and, if not yet acquired in said town, the golden watering can.

I need Jacob's Ladders and even after that, I sort of want to keep it. Dream town items are fun, but I probably won't have them in my town, and there aren't any items I want to leave around for the aesthetic.

It is too bad mushrooms don't count as plants, though, otherwise I might use them.
