Long term goals?

So my current aspiration is to unlock all the public works projects, but beyond maintaining a perfect town status does anyone else have any ideas for long term plans?
Another thought is to create other profiles and work on *interior design*... which im really terrible at LOL
If anyone has ideas or things they enjoy doing in their towns im all ears !!

It's been a while since I've played NL, but I remember getting the pwps was a pain. Sometimes you can be lucky and get pinged for a pwp proposal all the time and other times it can be like a content drought. I think unlocking every pwp in itself is going to be a long goal without anything else.

I remember my one friend would get a handful of pwps unlocked and I'd go a month+ without any and I would be playing regularly. The rng can be very unforgiving. Good luck with this challenge!

I guess if you're looking for more goals you could always try to get every villager's pictures, have Cyrus make models of all the dinosaurs, ect.

Do you know about the diving trick? I had to do that after a while to finally get the pyramid pwp to complete part of my town's theme. It's not a guarantee you'll get a pwp every time but it beats waiting on rng.

To get every shop on Main Street, one of my favorite parts of the game is slowly seeing the small strip with like 4 small shops grow into basically a city

I got t&t emporium some time ago, and im waiting on a few more katrina visits. im kind of wary of getting the dream suite in case it kills my game, which it probably wont just by making it, but i still worry lol

Honestly this was one of my favorite parts of NL. I never really got into CF so I don't know how it played out, but I loved the feeling of actual progress that's sorely lacking in NH.

Good luck! It's not guaranteed and can be time consuming as well, but I got a lot more pwp this way than trying it by chance. If you're looking for a specific pwp from a personality what I would do is box them off in some part of the town. Digging holes around them so they can't leave. That way when you get out of the water you know where they are and can beeline there to avoid running into another villager who will end up pinging you.

Be sure to have your pockets full with useless stuff like flowers or seashells that villager's won't want to trade you for. And leave all your money behind somewhere. That way they won't ping you for trades (full pockets/nothing they want/and no money they can try to take for their useless junk)

They can still ping you for something else, but it cuts back on the pings you don't want. Good luck

thank u for all the advice !! ive got time to kill today so ill give it my best shot. im gunning for the picnic blanket so iirc it has to be pinged by a sisterly villager. sorry renee but i need that picnic blanket lol

Your game should theoretically be fine, I decided to set it up (despite knowing full well Pretendo haven't sorted out the online functionality for it just yet), and the worst that happens is a "Sorry, there's been an internet error so you can't use our services right now" dialogue. That said, I am on Welcome Amiibo, so if you're on the base version of the game it may differ slightly (hopefully since Dream Suite wasn't really affected in the upgrade IIRC it should still be alright).
