No, it's really not. I don't find the free stuff argument valid because is a free moldy slice of bread good? That's what NA rewards feel like.

If that's the only option of something free to eat and I'm poor, then yes. It's great.

Like, my mom gets free mcdonald's (she works there). It sucks, because mcdonald's the grossly fattening and she needs to lose weight, but it's free food. She can't buy food from other places and get back to work in time to be back for her shift.

I'd kill for them to NA Club Nintendo us some of those DK SNES games I know EU just got back in their eShop.

I still don't get why anyone would shoo away free games, you don't have to do anything to get the free games on Club Nintendo. It's not as though they want you to run an errand and pay into it unnaturally. You buy a WiiU/3DS game and it pays into it on it's own. At least the bare minimum of it all is you connect your system, buy your games, enter your codes, get a free $5-10 Nintendo game every so often. How is a free NES or whatever game a moldy piece of bread? Obviously the physical items are crap. No doubting that. But no free game for doing nothing ever?

If you're just saying it doesn't compare in anyway whatsoever to PS+ or XB giveaways then I totally agree and you can disregard this lol.

The only problem is that the free games are almost never good games that I'd play. I got Majora's Mask for my Wii and Electroplankton Rec-Rec for my 3DS but those were the only 2 good games they had that I didn't have already.

Unrelated but this:

More stuff for Europe! Because it's not like we only have 4 physical items! (Oh wait we do. ?_?)

Here's the thing: No one is forcing you to get the free stuff. They could be *******s and make you pay for the game (after, you know, buying a game/system.)

Lol Nintendo can only give out so much free stuff to such a big continent before they'll start running to be of a deficit on the program.
It's amazing Nintendo doesn't hate their fans. Everyone wants something for nothing. "WHERE ARE MY FREE CLUB NINTENDO THINGS? I BOUGHT 1 GAME I WANT 20 THINGS" "They need to price drop on the WiiU *drops by 50 or more depending the store* Not cheap enough. I want it for less than the Wii." "I want my 3DS without 3D" "Put Mario on Xbox", it's amazing they don't stage their own terror attack and blow themselves up to spite you all.

This is literally the best thing I've read today.
It seems that everybody has just turned into fat greedy pigs that just demand more. That or they're incredibly ungrateful for what they have.

People don't even comprehend the fact that poverty exists. Heck, I bet in some parts of the world some children don't even have footballs, let alone a Wii u or 3DS. But still, we should all be concerned over the fact that clubnintendo NA isn't delivering physical rewards.

Boo-hoo :(

Okay that makes sense then for you, you milked it as much as it was going to be worth for you at that point. I can see that happening to me too as I collect all the ones they offer, but I wouldn't discount it all together. They'll give away new games eventually, if not already, that you may not have and might want, or it's for people who don't have them at all (like me) who enjoy saving $5 or more here and there on Virtual Console stuff. I can say I'm sure as hell glad they gave away Pilotwings SNES this month because I was never going to want to pay for that with an eShop card. But if you've got all it has to offer then of course it's 100% lousy in your eyes.

are you old enough to work or do you already have a job?

No. And I can't do any work at the moment anyway, due to the doctor at Saint Judes telling me to NOT do any work.

and before youre like "what about the dad."

He's a deadbeat who only get out to knock her up and by the time she's 8 months pregenant, he goes into jail again.

But most of the time you will have to pay for the game. 200+ Virtual Console games, and only space for 8 on Club Nintendo. Waiting for the game to come onto the website would take months, and may never happen. But if there is a game on there you are interested, then go for it. Just don't rely on it to get all of your games.

If you live in America then idk what to suggest
If you live in Europe then work hard at school and go to university. That way, you could both benefit (guaranteed that you manage to obtain a worthy scholarship and graduate).

I mean, even flogging junk on ebay can pull in a few bucks.

Literally this. I mean I totally and bummed I never got those Game & Watch DS games or the Hanafuda cards, those I'm jealous of, and the EU MK8 Pins, but holy crap I've saved a lot of money on the Virtual Console. Easily most of my NES & SNES is Club Nintendo "paid" for and I'm glad they offer it, and especially glad now that they do 8 games now instead of 4, and seem to be offering the Wii stuff for WiiU now, like Vegas Stakes or CluClu Land. It's given my WiiU & 3DS more life than it originally would have had without these free games.
Don't forget there are territories that Nintendo serves that don't have Club Nintendo OR EVEN AN ESHOP.

You're ungrateful of free games because the games that you do want cost money?

Let's change the context so you may be able to understand what you're saying in this thread.

Food bank:
Ugh, look at all of this free food. I mean, it's on offer for free to me, but I'm going to complain about the free food that I don't want, because the food that I do particularly want isn't here.

I should hope no one was relying on it for all their games or a main source, that would be terrible and you for sure would barely ever get any. They probably only release 8 at a time because it'll overwhelm them if they gave out either free reign on all 200+, or a larger selection. People would run out of Coins/Stars to buy the other items. Also another thing is they don't give out all the VC games because not all of them are technically theirs to do with what they want.
But I'm sure a restructuring could get us a way to view either a larger or a full collection to choose from. Lol Restructuring the thing, we could go on and on about that.
I thought something about the EU shop is suppose to be redone in the next year. Also thought I read same about the JP store, nothing on NA of course.

At least the break between the month(s) I can find a new Club Nintendo Virtual Console game to get, gives me time to get to know the one I've already downloaded. If you want to download 200 games at once and ignore 90% of them, and you only got them to say you have them, then that's a bit boring. But that's just my opinion. They force you to pace yourself lol Kinda works for me.

How is there even a fight about free games. It's like complaining the free sample at Costco isn't the food you wanted. They chose this way to give away free things, you don't get any say in it. If everyone wants to control the situation they should have whined harder to NOA.
