is a username change worth it?

i've been saving up for over a month to hit the 1.2k tbt mark. i checked out how much it cost to change it in the past, and apparently it used to cost 10 seashells? (which i do have) i don't know if that method will come back, but i'd also feel super stupid spending all my tbt just for it to be available for 10 seashells a bit later.

my question is, what are the odds of it being purchasable through seashells again/ do u think it will come back? or should i just spend all my tbt now and get a name i want? i'm sorry if it's an stupid question. i'd be happy for some advice!

Hi @nodice,

If you already have ten seashells then you can pay with those. Make a thread in Contact the Staff with what you would like your new username to be and say you wish to pay with your seashells.

The shop that takes seashells will be making a return eventually. Until then we need to process username changes using seashells manually.
