Interest Check: Treasure Hunt Event?

Hello!
After finding my dreamie on an island and finishing up my house upgrades I've felt like the amount of bells I saved up is making the game less fun for me so I wanted to use up my crafting materials and give away some items. I was wondering if anybody would be interested in a treasure hunt?

It'd be a short event with a few rules:
> Wrapped gifts hidden all around town from crafted items to random nook items
> Four people come to the island to find the gifts
> They must keep as many items as possible but they are allowed to bring items to the airport and leave it there for someone else to take it.
> Possibly wheel of chance???

Would anybody be interested in joining an event like this? (This isn't a signup just an interest check)

That sounds really fun! I’ve actually never done anything like this, apart from going to someone’s island and picking out four or five items~ it would be really cool to participate. I saw in a video someone used the color wheel and coordinated wrapped gifts and whatever color they got on the wheel was the gift they’d get!

ahh this would be so fun! i think it's definitely something people will be interested in, especially since there's not a lot already built in for multiplayer play (it's mostly just fishing together and that's it)! treasure hunts in-game are always really fun!

That’s a cool idea! Closest thing I did to this was in New Leaf when people would let you go get a mystery item.

That actually sounds really fun! The random aspect makes it interesting and treasure hunts are always fun! You could make it more interesting by adding a timer hahaha

Sounds really fun. A lot of people would like to join in, including me. I wish Nintendo would have an event like this where a NPC comes and host a big event to find gifts all over and we can get as much as we can before time is up.
