I need way more if I am to truly make my dream island a reality, I don't see them upping the limit though, Nintendo can be stubborn about arbitrary things like that.
However, I am having to compromise on my design plans due to the incline cap. I've five placed so far and I'm trying to figure out the best use for the remaining three.
I need more inclines. Not want. NEED. I like cliffs, and multiple levels, lemme access them without my ladder cuz I like the look of inclines. Please and ty ;-;
I mean, it really depends on how you use what you've got.
If you waste 6 inclines to make a huge fancy staircase across two levels, yes, you'll probably run out quickly.
However, from a practical point of view, 8 inclines should be more than enough to enable you to reach all areas, unless your island is a jagged mess.
For me personally, 8 is more than enough. I've got 3 at the moment and I don't even now where I could put 5 more inclines.
More is always better though, so I wouldn't mind having more options.
I don't see the need for a cap on inclines and bridges. You can literally transform your island into a parkour, so I don't see how having 30 bridges or inclines would be more ridiculous than that. They're just objects anyway, they shouldn't have a negative impact of the game itself.
I'm going to waste half my inclines on a castle entrance ;~; If I was able to centre the inclines to the house's door, I'd be willing to do just a single staircase for each level but I want that symmetrical grand entrance ahhhhhh
Plz Nook, let me write down more inclines as "bridges" on the paperwork no one needs to know!
Though I don't have terraforming yet I already know my island would be full of cliffs, so more inclines would be great, also maybe they could consider adding cliff bridges, that would be an amazing addition honestly...
I don't understand why 8, its a seemingly arbitrary number - I want exactly 10 :/ I've had to do some work arounds, like having hops across to cliffs I want separate, but then villagers get stranded and its just a big oof
Before I started terraforming my island, I thought 8 inclines was more than enough, maybe even too much. But now that I've terraformed it more to how I want it to be, I don't think it's enough! I wanted 2 inclines in front of my museum but I can't do that if I want an incline down to the secret beach so I've had to compromise my museum landscaping.
I agree with you guys about how they should've made it fluid between bridges and inclines, so we could have a total mix of 16 inclines/bridges.
I definitely need way more. Would've appreciated it was just you can have 16 bridges OR inclines. I can get around not having bridges by having hopping points, I can't get around not having inclines in the same way
I’ve only used 4 inclines so far and forget that one of them to the secret beach is even there most days lol... but then again I do have an extremely flat map and don’t spend much time in the higher elevation areas .
Currently only using 5. Granted, my overall island theme is to keep structures very unobtrusive and natural looking. So I don't want them everywhere and where they do happen to be located I keep them out of the way and blended in as much as I can.
I hit the limit way too fast. I had to change my ideas for the museum twice because I originally had two ramps dedicated to it and now I have none lol. Bridges I have no issue with. I wish they would combine the limit for the two and you can pick how many you have out of the 16 total. So say you could have 10 inclines and 6 bridges or vise versa.
