Inclines: enough or you need more?

me and my friend were talking about inclines. i was like i can't believe we can only have 8, and he was like oh i think that's enough. it is kind of enough, but it wouldn't hurt to have more than that. let's say you have 4 sections on your island, if they all have 2 levels then you'd already use all of them.

i've used all mine already & i can settle with that, but now i don't have an incline leading to the secret beach. i just didn't plan it out when i was designing early on, not thinking that redd will actually come there. (i just tore down some land near it so i can just walk there without needing a ladder, it's very tiny tho)

are you happy with your inclines and are they enough for your plans?

I think i have a layout planned with exactly 8 inclines. Is it enough for me? Yes. I do think 10 would've been better, though.

i think i've only used 4 of mine, but i need to demolish one and move it somewhere else. all in all i think i'm going to finish with 5 inclines. it's enough for me, but the way my map is set up i really can't use more without having them be nearly side by side. i don't really have anywhere where that would work, either.

You should be able to build more inclines/bridges when you pay off your final home loan. Change my mind.

I used half of the inclines just for my museum entrance. I didn’t like the fact that I used so many inclines just for one building that I decided to scrap that idea just so I can get more inclines for the rest of my island.

So yes, I definitely need more. Pleaaaaase.

I'd be much more happy with 10 total inclines. I used up my 8 fairly quickly, and I'd love to be able to do a better secret beach setup. If they gave us up to 10 or 12 I'd probably change up my island quite a bit.

I'm okay with it. I understand the limit: 8 each.

but i'd rather the limit be 16 fluid. if i don't use all my bridges, give them to me in inclines. or vice versa.

i scrapped my museum incline idea too.... now it's kinda awkward on the other side because where the other incline was supposed to be, i turned it to a mini cafe area instead. it's fine though. but once they allow us to have more, i'll build it ASAP.

In fact, all the bridges in my island are only for decorative purposes because I can easily terraform around water and manage to live without any bridges. But inclines. I need inclines. And I don’t even have one of those crazy museum entrances that uses about 4. Imagine those islands.

i think the majority of players got rid of the HUGE rivers lol... such a huge empty space that could be used for cute little areas instead. ergo, not really a lot of use for bridges. i have 3 bridges, and 1 is basically for aesthetic purposes to the museum so yeah lol.

I have placed five staircases by now and I will place just one more, maaaaaybe two, but I won't even need to reach the limit of eight inclines. Same goes for bridges.

I could really use a couple more. I've had all eight for a while and I feel like there are some parts of my island that are still screaming for an incline. Unfortunately I can't really spare any of the ones I already have without having to completely re-do some of my areas. I'd happily give up a few bridge spots for more inclines.
