I'm worried about the Dreaming Nook Mile achievement...

Back in NL, it was the only achievement I never obtained, because the number they wanted was ridiculous. I was lucky if I visited 100 other towns before getting too bored to care anymore.

Here in NH, I was happy with the achievement criteria because it seemed 'do-able'...until the diving achievement was added. I have all current sea creatures, most of the mermaid set, and a couple Gullivarrr items...and I'm only at the 250 dive achievement level. I was expecting level 4 to be 500 dives, but it's a ridiculous 1,000...and I know the rage I'll feel if I look to see what the final achievement number is...

I'm really hoping the dream achievements get things back on track, and are once again at a manageable level...

2500 sea creatures is the final achievement for diving. I hit 1000 yesterday.

But I'm with you on the Dream Suite achievement. I won't be getting that anytime soon.

See, the bugs and fish I understand, because eventually that would happen naturally. My issue with the diving is that once I have all the creatures, mermaid set and Gullivarr items, there's no more reason for me to dive.

Unless they thought people were going to have a harder time identifying what they're diving for...I mean, at this point, I can tell if it's a scallop or not, and I don't pick up anything that's not a scallop.

thats fair i'm reluctant to dive rn but want to complete the achievement. the crafting one is driving nuts too it just spamming 'A' from loose paper to document stack and vice versa.

I feel the same way about fishing and bugging. I go buck wild the first couple days of a new month trying to catch new fish and bugs to donate, but after that, and unless I need a specimen or two for a model, I'm done.

There's a natural pull for me every morning to find a scallop so that I can have my one interaction with Pascal. I have all the recipes and crafted items from those recipes, but knowing Pascal is hungry feeds (pun intended) my need to throw on my diving suit.

A lot of the nook miles achievements seem too low to me personally. The bugs, fish, and DIY Tools/DIY Furniture are the only ones that are a bit of a struggle for me.

I feel like if anything the requirements for the dream suite nook mile achievement will be way lower than it was in NL

That's what I'm hoping for. You can only visit Aika Village so many times...

honestly, i’m not personally worried about this. some of the requirements for certain achievements are a bit ridiculous but as someone who used the dream suite frequently in new leaf and will likely be using it quite often in new horizons, i’m not too worried about it. having to visit 500-1000 islands, however? would still be frustrating, regardless, so here’s hoping that the numbers won’t be too high aha

Probably. I'm actually hoping Nintendo has their own island set up again.

In ACNL I completed the dream suite badge for 4 players. To make it go faster I watched TV and left as soon as I got to the town. Most towns were starters or forgot ones. If it was a good town I took a picture of the island dream address and visited later.
Hopefully it's not over 500 for ACNH.

I got so enraged I actually TT'd to get away from it.

Ah, the nook miles... I hit 1k yesterday and figured the final level would be 2k but nope. 3000 nook mile+ tasks. That's going to take a while.

As I said, I'd like the option to shut it off so I can fish/dive/water flowers/talk to villagers etc, without it being a mile earner.

Some achievements for sure are going to take a long time to get. I personally have an issue with the planting flower seeds one. Like my flowers duplicate themselves, why would I need to plant flower seeds??
I agree driving was fun at first, but once you get all of the sea creatures it’s pretty boring. I can barely motivate myself to dive for scallops to get Pascal most days. Especially because it takes so long and half of the time he gives you a pearl. This will be another nook mike achievement that’ll take a while to get!

I did not play ACNL, so I am very excited to experience this new dream thing! I always love walking around people’s islands when I visit them just to see what they’ve created
