i need help uploading a an avatar of an sd card

this may be in the wrong section, if it is, move it. but i can't seem to upload an image for an avatar here that i resized at imageshack. i don't know why and it keeps on saying "avatar changed" and there will be no avatar. it's really weird and i need some help.
