The nosedrip bothers me too (glad I’m not the only one) . I have ocd so it honestly bothers me a lot even though she is kinda cute.

Oh my gosh, thank you! So many people love Daisy Mae but she grosses me out and I can’t look at her very long at all, gotta turn away, lol! That doesn’t have anything to do though with me not wanting to buy turnips.

I messed with turnips a few times to make a majority of bells. Stopped when I had about 75 mil or so?? I'd usually just buy whatever price she sold at in bulk, literally plopping turnips all over free spaces on my island and then I'd look for someone with high turnip prices (think I usually settled between 400-550 range). I remember paying for private sessions at the time because I obviously had to take multiple trips, and didn't want to deal with other people flying in. It was definitely an investment but I just like not having to worry about bells anymore, and don't really see it as cheating or anything since it's a part of the game. I haven't used her in years though and don't think I plan to since a majority of my island is decorated and my free spots aren't near the airport anymore. Not to mention whenever I did use her I'd have to time travel because I'd be busy or just never awake by the time I logged onto the game naturally lol.

That sounds like dedication and a lot of work, lol. I’ve luckily not had any issues with getting money since I have fields and fields of gold roses. I’ve played for probably 3 years and I have almost all items, etc. in game. Thing is I’ve never bothered to do any terraforming. I’m not really into that kind of thing. So I ended up just putting house where they made the most sense and for the ones across water or on another level I built stairs and bridges. All of that was really just for convenience though. I’ve discovered that I am not that big into the actual outside decorating. It probably seems weird for someone to play Animal Crossing that long and not be into decorating, but I love my little buddies and even 3 years later I am not tired of their dialogue. Just today I was talking with PomPom and she said “how do you like my polka dot shirt? Remember when you gave it to me? Etc, etc.” Anyway it just made me say “awwww” I also smiled today at Ankha who was stealthily creeping after a Rajah Brooke’s butterfly, and Sherb smelling some flowers and looking in his flower book. That is what I like about ACNH versus the Dreamlight Valley game I play. The npc’s are so sterile in that game, there is no personalization, they just wander through the valley saying the same thing over and over. It is just not the same at all. Ok, veered a little off topic, lol.

I've only used her to complete the nook mile stamp thing and then that was it. I have enough money to last me a long time.

I low-key hate playing the stalk market but I'm kinda completionist so I got the NM achievements but after that I haven't talked to her since. I'm also kinda grossed out by her nose dripping so it's like, girl you're cute and all but six feet.

I used it a few times and had limited success, but it's a bit of the pain to hope for the best or hunt down those with good sells. I did like getting the diy from her and used some of the furniture pieces on my island. I use this turnip barrel one for my farm area and it looked really great.

Even in NL I personally liked getting bells by going to the island and fishing sharks and catching beetles as I listened to the music and ocean waves. It was just good vibes as I chilled on my bed during a warm summer night

i think i utilized the stalk market a few times at the very beginning of my first island because it was so new there wasn’t a load of places to get bells from. I remember using a turnip prediction system where you had to plug in your daily prices and it could accurately predict if you they would sell for a high amount later. It worked okay but, I stopped after a while because it was a lot of extra steps and i don’t really care about it that much. Once bells were pretty available via trades and item purchases in game with friends I stopped all together. It was so easy to make bells that I didn’t see the need for turnips. Even when I reset I just ordered bells from friends lol Making money was a lot more fun in previous games especially NL with the islands and all that!
