I can't pick a map

So I've been sitting resetting for a perfect map, and I finally got two. I just can't pick between them! >.<

My criteria is generally:
-Straight-ish river
-Re-Tail near dock
-Few ponds
-Villagers not in really stupid places

And of course I found two that were both perfect.

I would recommend the first one. It might seem a bit unappealing because you can't reach the other beach initially, but that can be resolved easily as soon as you have a wetsuit.

From the look of it, there is more landmass in the first one. That means more space for houses and public works projects.

I personally like the first one better! I like when the river cuts through half of the town like that, and I also like the shape of the plaza and how town hall is right by the train station. These are both really nice maps though!

I think the first one will be easier to work around when it comes to PWP's, so I personally would go with that one.

I really prefer the first one. With the second one, the bridge is kind of badly placed. I mean, you can build a second one, but not right off the bat. Plus, the first one looks so much nicer, especially with the river going more down the middle of town than the other one. Also, the second one has two ponds right side by side, and this is just a personal preference but I don't like that, I like them to be further apart.

Yeah, as HoennMaster said, the first one is more ideal PWP-wise.

Huh damn you almost swayed me there, I like them too...

My issue with maps like #2 is that little bit of land between the pond and the ocean, just before the bridge...it's too small to do anything on and ends up looking ugly because of grass dying in such a small spot!

The town plaza would be too close to the tracks for my liking too ;o

I personally like the second one!

As soon as I saw that little land surrounded by water where the bridge was, I instantly thought "That would be a good place to put the campsite with a bunch of bamboo and make it into like a forest

I really like the second one! That 'bubble' of land between the river and the beach in the south looks like a perfect place to have a house!

Agree! That little land bubble seems like a really cool area! Also the bottom area seems to be laid out perfectly! (with retail being so close to the island dock and two villagers having their houses down by the sea)

I think the little circle land by the waterfall is a cute place for a house personally. So I'd say second. ^_^ But the first is nice too and will be pretty nice for the time being when you only have one bridge lol. XD

The second! The south facing waterfall is nice and I love the little bubble next to it, seems like a great place for a house.
