Hybrid Help

So, i've been trying to make some Blue roses(the bane of every hybrid farm) and... I really cant tell if im doing this wrong or not. i've been at it for a whole month.. i created Hybrid Reds using Purple and Orange roses, and then planted those reds in their own spot.. but all im getting is reds and a black every so often.. do Purple/Orange not create Hybrid Reds like i have been lead to believe?

You're best bet is to Google this. I can't remember the page otherwise I'd share a link but it shows the best way to position your flowers to get the hybrid. I know having multiple of the flowers needed helps more than just one of each, as does using fertiliser!

They do create hybrid reds. It takes a lot of time, are you sure they're hybrid reds? The thing is, if you put them somewhere easily accesible to your villagers, they might plant normal reds in your purplexorange fields. I used the unaccesible beach in my town to breed them, and it still took me a loong while!! use fertilizer every day and be patient. Good luck

im moderately sure theyre hybrid reds, but im gonna try something else that a guide suggests: Orange/Hybrid-Red. all i really need to do is get 2 blue roses, then i can start mass-hybriding them.

The best is to put all your hybrid reds on the beach so your villagers don't mess with your head and plant regulaar ones. Once you have two blue roses it'll be really easy and you can breed them and be happy. I still haven't got any blue roses yet so ehh. I'm struggling to get purple and orange roses to breed but none of them are popping up and I've got a ton of white roses haha.
