So, when I was younger I had two flip phones (not at once), but I lost both of them. Wasn't allowed to have another phone until the 8th grade, so close to freshman year, LOL.

Anyways, 8th grade phone was my very first smart-phone (iPhone 4s), then I upgraded to an iPhone 6s about two years later, then that one, the battery fried and never turned back on, so I had to get it replaced. After that I got an iPhone 8+, my senior year. Then the screen was having problems recently (freezing and not locking) so I had to get THAT one replaced, too.

So, in total, I've had about 7? LOL. I have bad luck with phones...

I've had 4!

My first was my slider phone, then I got an iPhone 4, then a Nexus 5 and now I have my Google Pixel 3A.

If I'm not mistaken, I'm on my sixth phone now. I got my mom's old phone as my first phone in 2006, and considering that I got my current phone in January or February, I'd say I'm not doing too bad - except for the first two, maybe, I've only gotten replacements when I can't really use the phone anymore.

I've had 4 phones so far:
  • Some flip phone, I think from summer 2007 to summer 2011
  • Some phone with a slide-out keyboard, I think from summer 2011 to summer 2014 (which managed to disappear before we ended up finding it in a jacket pocket years later)
  • Samsung Galaxy S5, summer 2014 to summer 2018
  • Samsung Galaxy S9+, summer 2018 to now
I barely used the first two phones, but I've used the Galaxy S5/S9+ a ton more, lol. I don't plan on upgrading my Galaxy S9+ until summer 2022 if I can help it, since I feel like using a phone for at least 4 years is pretty good lifespan before it starts to slow down and becomes more unusable.

I think i had like 8 phones. In 1st grade i had some old samsung phone and then a flip phone and then another flip phone then some touch screen phone, then i got my first iphone 3 in 8th grade, then i upgraded to iphone 4, then upgraded to iphone 6 and right now i have my iphone 7 that i just got two years ago

I think I've owned four? I had an iPod touch when I was younger, but i don't count that. So I guess I went iPhone 4 (lasted a long time, eventually bit the dust) -> iPhone 6 (blunt force trauma) -> iPhone 8 (used until battery life became a significant problem) -> iPhone SE(current).

My first phone was a hand-me-down from my older sister (LG Shine) that I used in high school, and I'm currently using a Samsung S6 that lasted me throughout university. Not sure what I'll get once this one dies, but I know I'll stick with an Android.

Oh wow hmmm...

  1. Motorola 120e
  2. Nokia 5165
  3. LG6200
  4. LG Rumor
  5. iPhone 3
  6. ... Here's the tough part. I used to sell phones and they required us to constantly try out new phones by switching our company provided handset. So, for roughly 2 years I had a new phone every month. So... 24 phones is a good rough estimate. I'd switch faster if I hated something.
  7. Galaxy S6
  8. Galaxy S7
  9. Galaxy S9
  10. iPhone 11 currently

Hmmm i think i've had 7 mobile phones? my first phone was a motorola flip phone, then i had 2? slidey phones after... then iphone 4 (didn't last long cuz i had to upgrade to 5s b/c i had to study abroad), and then got an SE and then now i have an SE2

I have had only three types of cell phones, the one I have now is the samsung galaxy s5.

I don't like getting rid of things like that. I've had the chance to upgrade my phone and refused to do so. I still have my old phone lying around even though I can't really do anything with it.

I still have dead electronics lying around too...

2016>>Dad’s iPhone 5
2018>>Dad’s iPhone 6s
2020>> iPhone 11 (my first phone that’s not hand me down!!)

Prior to that was a bunch of cheap samsungs/androids which I cycled through and can’t really remember most of them

I got a cheap one with 2 gigabytes of storage at age 14. Had no problem with it, but one friend apparently commented to her mother that it was sad I used such a cheap phone and her mother gave me her old phone, an iPhone 5, out of pity. Used it ever since. I'm a firm believer in using things until they are absolutely unusable and thrased.

I've had 6.

My first one was one of those sliding keyboard phones called a Samsung Gravity. I got it secondhand for $10 when I was in grade 10.

A bit later I bought a new one as the previous owner of my first phone wanted it back. So I bought a $30 Nokia G3. It looks a lot like a Blackberry knockoff but it definitely was not a smartphone. I remember really liking it though it had some neat custom themes you could download on it.

In 2011 I saved up money to buy my first smart phone. As I used an old iPod Touch 2nd gen for music and games along with the Nokia for messaging/calls daily and I wanted an all in one device. I got the black iPhone 4S. The 5 had just come out but I preferred the style of the older phone and it was a fair bit cheaper.

In 2014 I upgraded to the space grey iPhone 6 but silly me didn't go for the bigger storage option at the time which was a big mistake. It was only 16GB like my 4S was. Due to this I ended up selling it in early 2017 as I could no longer play certain games on it due to limited storage capacity. Since I was a college student at the time I had a limited budget so I got a 32GB iPhone 6S (also space grey) which was fairly cheap at the time as it was a two year old model and I was switching carriers anyways and the new one had a decent deal.

Note: The 6 and 6S looked pretty much identical
In 2018 apple had a special trade in offer for older phones so I could get about half of my money back on the 6S to put towards a new one. I really liked the look of the XR. Especially the bright colour options it had. I had also finished college earlier in the year so I actually had some decent money to spend. So I ended up getting a Blue 64GB iPhone XR right before the new year of 2019, and it's definitely been my fave phone so far. I don't plan on upgrading it any time soon either.

Had I known better I'd only have had 5 phones and never would have gotten the 6S as I was still fine with the 6 when I got rid of it other than the lack of storage issues. Oh well.

Four! And they looked like this, chronological from left to right. The last one is tilted the other way because haha. I don't care enough. 😈

The slidey phone on the left lasted me like 4 years, as did my first smartphone. The next one was 3 when I retired it, and my current phone is now also that age but I might keep it a while longer? It's still doing everything I ask it to do, so. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’ve never actually broken a phone which is miraculous, but I’ve had around four(?) from upgrading. My current phone is an iPhone 11 Pro.

Counting the one that I currently have, I've had three. I got the iPhone 12 Pro Max for a late Christmas present. ^_^

Had a sony flip phone in high school, talking about 2010 here .. lol iPhone/smart phones were just getting waaaay more popular

Then a galaxy s2, then to an iphone 6 then 7, then currently still using my Galaxy Note 9.

Really don't care about the new and best no more. As long as I can run Spotify I'm good lol

Galaxy s4 -> Galaxy note 5 -> Galaxy s9 (current phone)
I switched from the first to the second because the s4 shut down and wouldn't turn on no matter what I did, went from note 5 to s9 after 4 or 5 years cause my parents upgraded my phone for my birthday.
