i think i've had 7? my dad would have us switch phones a lot back then because some of them were free with a contract lol. i got my first one in 5th grade because my dad got it for my mom but she didn't want it so it went to me instead. it was a purple flip phone. then in 6th grade i got one of the sliding qwerty keyboard ones. in 7th grade i had my first touch screen phone (xperia i think). then an iphone my freshman year of high school. i switched to samsung galaxy in either junior or senior year, upgraded to another galaxy sophomore year of college, and then switched back to iphone my junior year which is what i'm currently stuck with (switching back to samsung when i can though 😗 )
i feel like i'm still missing one

I feel like I’ve been through a good amount of phones in my lifetime so far. I can’t remember the order of some of these but I know my first phone ever was a Nokia E70 and my current is an iPhone X (contemplating on upgrading or just waiting it out) everything in between is just a blur, but these are the phones I’ve owned at one point or another in my life:

-Nokia E70
-Samsung flip phone (forgot the name, but it was stolen)
-Sanyo Katana
-LG Fusic LX550
-Samsung A900
-Palm Centro
-BlackBerry 8530
-HTC Touch PRO
-HTC One
-IPhone 5
-IPhone 6S
-iPhone X

omg wow twelve phones?! that’s crazy, I didn’t even realize how many phones I’ve went through until i wrote them out! I’ve always wanted a T-Mobile side kick though, unfortunately it never made it on my list before it got discontinued.

I've had 4 mobile phones in my lifetime so far.

I got a Nokia flip pretty soon entering middle school. In high school I got an android, sometimes later I got a Samsung and now I have another Samsung, an 8 I think. The phone I have now is the only phone I paid for myself, I upgraded once I held my old job for like a year cause it wasn't cutting it for me anymore. It would constantly run out of storage and gave me problems.

I bought my first phone when I was 19.
I've only had 4 total, and I'm 32 now.

Granted, my current phone could really do with being replaced. Lol.

But, I've never lost or broken one.

I am on my third phone!

-Got a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini in 2014 that died after two years (battery was completely useless, charge lasted about 45 minutes)
-Replaced that phone with a Samsung Galaxy J3 in 2016
-Replaced that phone with a Samsung Galaxy A5 in 2018. The J3 was still functioning alright but there was a sale on the A5 that came with a really good data plan (4GB of data for the same price I was paying for 500MB of data at the time). Still using my A5 now, hoping I can get another 1-2 years out of it as I really like it.

Only had 3 phones,
Started with a Nokia C3-00 that was lent to me, then a Samsung Phone that was also lent and the third one is another smartphone that wasn't lent and I had it for 2 years already.

5 phones so far. I had a flip phone, a keyboard phone, one of the galaxies, and two different OnePlus phones. I'm considering getting a new one next year or the year later depending on how the battery life is and whether or not I can find a replacement battery and do it myself.

i’ve only had two; my first one, which was the iphone 5S and my current one, the iphone 6. while i’m definitely a little embarrassed by just how outdated my phone is, i’m still grateful for what i have and it’s honestly not a bad phone at all! 🥴

I don't know, like 10 maybe? I grew up during the evolution of phones, so that was an experience.

First one was like a Nokia one with snake, I got it as a child just to have a way to get help just in case.

Then I think I got a Razr Motorola hand-me-down, that was pretty neat.

The next hand-me-down was a Sony Ericsson, nice music player gimmick but not enough space.

After that I had a G1 Google hand-me-down, I think that's like the first Android phone.

At one point I also had an "undestructable" phone for some reason, but the design broke off easily.

After that the smartphones slowly crept in. I think my next phone was like a Smartphone lookalike that didn't have any smartphone functions. Like back then phones came with two games and you had to buy 5 bucks for each new game. I'm pretty sure I bought the Sims and regretted it instantly lol.

My first smartphone was Samsung Galaxy Young, which was pretty embarassing because I was an adult. It's super small and barely had any storage, but I played Cut the Rope on it so that's nice.

I think since then I had 3 new smart phones, all Samsung Galaxy. No reason to, but I just don't want to try another brand. Right now I have an A40, which is basically what you'd expect from a smartphone. I'm amazed that I have like 40 games downloaded and three albums on my storage tbh.

I don't know what old phones I'm missing, but I just got hand-me-downs back in the day.

Three! The first phone I got was in my sophomore or senior year of high school: LG Cosmos. It had a full keyboard you could slide out. That eventually broke yeeeeeaaaarrrs later, so I got an iPhone 5c because I didn’t want to spend more money on a plan for one of the the newer models. It quickly faced a lot of lag and charging issues.

Currently have an iPhone 5s and hoping to upgrade to something decent next year. I’m really behind.

7 phones, which is more than I thought after writing all this text.

5th grade I got my first phone. It was a samsung slide up one, which broke approximately a year later. My parents downgraded me to some nokia-like brick phone because of my irresponsibility 😂 year after that I got a phone that had a keyboard.
  • Samsung galaxy s2 - I still have this phone in a drawer but the last time I loaded this up it took years to open apps and stuff
  • Samsung galaxy s6 - this lasted me until it’s very last breath. The battery would drain easily and eventually had pretty bad lags, which then led to the end of its life. The store couldn’t obtain all my data/pictures 🥲 lowkey miss all the custom phone themes I had...
  • iPhone 8 - my first iPhone and wow I don’t think I can go back to androids. This opinion I have seems outdated because of my past experience, but I believe iPhone batteries are better than androids (I only think this is false now because my parents own galaxy s10+ and their battery life is pretty good). I definitely remember the transition of adjusting to my iPhone because I used to always tap the “back” button on my androids instead of swiping. Now it’s the complete opposite when my parents hand me their phone lol
  • iPhone 12 Pro - I think I could’ve held off on upgrading until next year, but getting a new phone was on my mind the last few months. It’s definitely a different experience compared to the regular 8, and frankly I don’t regret upgrading since lots more phone storage + better battery + bigger screen + camera

My first one was a blackberry, next a samsung, then an iphone, and finally my current galaxy s6, so 4 in total. I think the iphone was gen 4? cant really recall the exact model for each phone i had before.

I went through a period of time when I was constantly breaking my phone. It sucked a lot. I'm super careful now and I have a very durable case, so I have had this phone for three years and not a single scratch on it. (knocks on wood.)

My first phone was a Nexus 4, still probably the best one I've used, but unfortunately the digitizer went poof, and I didn't want to solder a new one on.
Second phone was Moto X. Didn't really like it, dropped the screen and cracked. I fixed it and used it for another year, but the battery life was already abysmal and it was running slow.
Current phone is a Nokia 6.1. It's running a bit slow and I cracked the screen recently, but it's not actually too bad. I'm running into storage issues bc I have a 32gb phone and like 12gb are system files. Currently plan to unlock the bootloader and flash lineage on it, it'll be a post exam project to see if I can stretch out the life another year or so. I may replace the screen as well, but the crack is small so it doesn't bother me too much.

In the end, I don't really use my phone all that much, so there's not a lot of reason to replace it. Pushbullet routes all the text messages and notifications to my computer, where I can respond and deal with them. I used to read on my phone a lot, but I bought a kindle and it's been fantastic. Most things I can do better on my computer and tablet anyways.

I’ve had four phones!

I believe I got my first one when I was 12? It was an LG something - a keyboard would slide out the side haha. I loved that phone 🥺💕 could text sooo fast on that one.

Then I got a Nokia when my LG finally died. 😔 Would shut off whenever I’d slide the keyboard in. The Nokia was sort of like a blackberry styled phone? I didn’t have it for super long though as it wasn’t the best.

Next up was a Samsung something - one of the cheaper versions. It was alright! Got the job done for a few years until it started acting up. Wasn’t receiving or sending texts sometimes.

When I was 18 I think? I bought an iPhone 6. Was an older phone at the time but I really wanted the headphone jack haha. I still have this phone and I love it! 🥰💕

Uh, a lot. I've had a mobile phone since approx. 2001. My first was a Nokia 3210. I had gotten through about seven phones before I even bought my first smart phone in 2010. I've had at least three iPhones, two Google phones, and currently have a Samsung Galaxy S10.

I had 3. I got my first phone in 2008 when I was 13. I wanted a pink phone with a pull-out keyboard like one of my friends had, but I got an "ugly" black phone with no keyboard. I'm pretty sure it was touchscreen, but I don't remember what kind of phone it was. My next phone was an iphone 4s that I got in 2013. I still have it and use it for music now. Then I got a rose gold iphone 6s which is my current phone that I use today. I've had it since 2015 and it still works perfectly despite being dropped many times. I don't understand how people crack their phone screens because I drop mine all the time and it's never broken.

I've had 3 phones in my life, soon to be 4 since I'm getting a new one from my parents for Christmas.

1st one I got when I was 11-ish, an easy to use flip phone
2nd one was a Samsung phone with a keypad (similar to a Blackberry) I got when I was 13
3rd phone was an iPhone 5S I got when I was 14, which I still have to this day

Not sure which phone to get this time around, I just know I'm going second hand to avoid having to pay for a contract, and I'd like a white, grey, or rose gold phone!

1. Some flip phone.
2. Some other flip phone.
3. iPhone 3gs.
4. iPhone 4s
5. iPhone 5s
6. Galaxy s6 Edge+
7. Galaxy s8+
I'm looking to buy either the Galaxy Z Fold2, or the iPhone 12 pro max soon.
