How many different personality types do you have living on your island?

Curious to see how many personality types out of the total eight are actually represented full time on the current lineup for everyone’s island

I have all 8! I need variety in personalities. Otherwise it's just wayyy too repetitive.

all eight! at first I was planning on leaving out peppy and jock in favor of having 2 sisterly, snooty, cranky, and smug, but Ruby caught my eye and Genji did too eventually so since then I've had all eight! And right now I have an extra sisterly and smug as well since they're my two favorites.

I had all 8 until today I let Willow kick out Tutu, my only peppy villager. I wanted her to kick out one of my 3 normals, but I didn't like repeating the card game.

Right now I have 7/8, with three Snooties, two peppies, and zero lazies. Already collected all the reactions and DIYs from my previous lazy villagers, but I just find their personality so unpleasant (I have low tolerance with the bugs / being unhygienic discussion) and there’s not any lazy villager I feel stronger than apathy towards— plus they go to bed so early that there’s no real upside to it for me outside of more dialog I don’t really want to hear. I’ve “auditioned” any lazy I was thinking “maybe“ about via dream suite, but none hit me anywhere near as much as anyone I’d need to kick out to make room. To people with heavy lazy and jock islands: God bless you, but you are getting something different than I am out of this game! If I could add more villagers on top of the ten, I’d add two more Normals.

7! Was actually planning on 6, but Fuschia won me over with her chill attitude. Don’t have a cranky and I’m mostly ok with that except I’m missing a cranky reaction so I’ll have to cycle one through for that last reaction ._.

I have all eight! Currently the breakdown is one of each personality (uchi, cranky, snooty, peppy, lazy, normal, and jock) and three smugs (Jacques, Beardo, and Shep). I didn’t intend to have three smugs but it just kinda happened that way. I’m trying to move shep out next since I have gotten his framed photo, so unsure what the next villager personality to replace him will be.

I have all 8. I'd hope they would add two more personalities in future games, but allow us to have a larger town with at least 16 villagers.

Currently at 7, missing a smug. I'm hoping that a smug I like will show up through the campsite. I do want to have all 8 personalities represented eventually but I'm not in a rush towards that goal.

Currently 7 as Fuchsia moved out & Bluebear moved in! I’m thinking of a different uchi to move in next time but drawing a blank on who I’d want o: I try not to have more than 2 of each personality tho

Since I am making a deer island I’ll have 7/8 personalities (I feel fuchsia should’ve been peppy to have that 8th tho)

Also all 8; part of my island planning phase was picking at least one of each personality type I'd like to have just to make sure I didn't miss any. I'm currently doubled up on normal (Fauna and Kiki) and jock (Genji and Dom).

I needed all 8 to get all the reactions. I received the final one recently from Mira. Now I will solely choose villagers by their aesthetic. I get to go hunting tomorrow, as Julian is in boxes today.

My first island has all 8, my second one however has so far 5 out of 8. I'm missing right now a snooty, a normal and also a lazy one. I try to get all personalities together (mainly because of the reactions), I'm not sure however who I'm gonna pick to fill these spots, at the moment I'm more busy with decorating the island rather than looking for villagers.

I have 1 smug, 2 crankies, 2 jocks, 2 lazies, 1 normal and 2 peppies. One of the crankies is a temporary as well as one of the jocks. I plan on cycling for a bit, but the ones I want to fill the two spots are Ankha and Marshal or Lolly, though I really would like an uchi. Sadly, I don’t like any of the uchis as much as Ankha, Lolly or Marshal (there are a few that I am interested in though).

Right now I have all of them. But once Keaton moves, I'm afraid I may have trouble finding his replacement smug.
