I line my tools in the top row, with my net and rod right next to each other so I can easily swap even without the tool ring, and the net next to my stone axe just in case of emergencies.
I keep all my tools at the top, and I'm pretty particular about the order that they're in! Also at the top I have a simple DIY workbench and a garbage can!
My second row is the crafting stuff I use the most often (hard wood is needed for shovels!) I also always have a couple pears on me (my native fruit) in case I need to break a rock or pick up a tree.
My second row also often contains things like the heart crystals, my extra bells, or wrapping paper.
Other than that, I'm not super picky about my inventory as I make lots of trips to Nook's
!
Tools across the top, always in the same order. Second and third row are items that will be sold, or if I'm shopping off-island, held until I get home. Bottom row has fruit or a few eggs on the right corner, so I can move trees or break rocks. Things to keep start in the left corner and work across.
four tools on the upper left then all junk that i pick up like how i read from left to right then top to bottom. it's also how the items i pickup fills in.
I like keeping my tools on the top, the vaulting pole being the first tool, ladder being second, the in betweens are mostly random depends on how I feel like placing them that day lol but my last tool would always be for the slingshot, then after the tools I'll have things I won't be selling (probably furnitures I got from the tree/diy from a bottle/balloon/random stuffs I didn't bother putting on my storage lol) and the others are for other things that I'll sell/resources I got for the day...
My tools all go to the top of my inventory. They're organized like this: fishing rod, net, shovel, slingshot, watering can, axe, stone axe, vaulting pole, ladder, wand, instrument (currently an ocarina). I also keep customization kits on me at all times, which go next to my tools. Other than that, the order of things don't matter.
My tools fill in all 10 spaces on the top row. Everything else goes beneath. If I know I am selling completely for sure, I'll move to to the lower right corner.
I keep my tools in the top row with my wand and my diy workbench in the last two slots in the top row and then I keep all my materials squished in the left and the leftover space to the right I use for everything else. It's a little cluttered with crystal hearts currently and I have extra cans because I'm in a watering group haha C:
I keep my tools all at the top and then try to organize everything by what I'm doing - like the things I know I'm going to use or put down on the ground first by the tools and then everything else after.
All my tools are on the top row. All else are below. I keep the heart crystals on the last slot on the bottom right just so I could avoid it getting sold accidentally.
I have all my tools on the top row in a rather specific order (shovel - net - fishing rod - stone axe - axe - watering can - slingshot - vaulting pole/ladder, usually don't care about the order of the last 2), and then after everything's kinda unordered and just based on when I picked it up for the most part.
i have all my tools on the top row in a specific order (vaulting pole, ladder, slingshot, net, shovel, watering can and umbrella). i have extra bells on the bottom row and iron nuggets + crafting bench in the corner in the last 2 slots for when my tools inevitably break ;;
Tools go in the top row, but in no specific order; I’m never in a rush to change tools except for balloons. Next two rows are empty and open for anything. Bottom row almost always contains flowers I’ve dug up and can’t find homes for, arranged by colour and type. Days after it rains are the worst for my organization
i’m super particular about my inventory so it’s always like this: tools in the top row starting with the ladder, then vaulting pole, slingshot, net, fishing rod, stone axe, axe, shovel, watering can, wand
then it’s tree branches, hardwood, softwood, (reg) wood, clay, stones, iron nuggets, and customization kits
everything after that varies from gifts to give to my villagers, diy recipes, fish and bugs, etc. ^^
I keep my tools in the top row, the middle two rows tend to be random stuff and the bottom row is gifts for my villagers and stuff for current trades with people online. I usually put the item or items I'm trading in the bottom right corner to keep it separated from everything else. It makes it easier for me when I trade.
