It was very cute! I was happy to be able to see Rover again, and the reward was nostalgic. It was a nice touch. I hope to see more events like this in the future!
It was fun very breath of the wild. Plus hello it's a pun. Mayday planes going to crash... May day cause its May.... Very animal crossing. Sometimes it's nice to try to remember in past games earth day or harvest moon ect are a small event which is okay. Rather that than BUNNY DAY 2.0
I liked it! Even though it was short, it still gave us something fun to do. It was a lot better than the minor holidays in NL where you just had an item handed to you and that was it.
Yeah, it was cute and fun. I'm sad it's so short but oh well. I didn't get all the bell vouchers though (the one with three rocks in front).
I did reset twice and always fell short of one fruit. I'm sure I could've figured it out but I'm a bit impatient and I figured that I'm not lacking in funds. So yeah.
I liked it. It took me 15 minutes and it was rather frustrating but at least I got to see Rover. I wish we could do it more than once and I want to see Rover sometime soon again.
Loved to see something that's partially an Easter Egg, when I got to the May Day event.
I'll post it with a spoiler tag because some people haven't done the event yet.
When you get to the end of the maze and talk to Rover, he'll give you a suitcase. That suitcase is the same one he had in previous games - the original AC and NL - when he used to talk with you on the train. Also, if you look closely, you'll see that there's a few stickers on the suitcase. They're references to the previous titles in the series, like, one of them resembles the boxart of ACGC, another has the Taxi you ride as you're starting a new game in WW, another one is has the train from NL... There's even a sticker with Redd's logo in it.
It was fun, but I do wish there was an event each day until the 7th or whatever the date is. I won’t complain though. It’s nice to see Nintendo slowly incorporating characters. I hope Rover gets a more permanent role later!
Pretty underwhelming to be honest since it was pretty easy and you can only do it once, was nice to see Rover though and from what he said it sounds like we will be seeing him again. I'm excited to see what Nintendo will do in the future with these types of events.
Don’t understand why these events are so long when they can be easily completed in 30 minutes. That’s my only complaint. At least they don’t stop you from completing your duties like events did in New Leaf.
I’m embarrassed to admit it but I had to look up a guide to get the bonus bell vouchers. I gave it a couple tries but I was always one fruit short. So at least they did a good job of making a challenging maze.
I also still don’t know what May Day is and the reward is eh but whatever. It was cute seeing Rover.
honestly got a lil emotional when rover mentioned my character looked familiar! but the event itself was disappointing. especially since it's not like there's multiple variations of the islands, or much else to really do. i wish there was more furniture we could get, especially when there was a rover set in ACPC. (even if it wasn't that exactly, but still.)
