How do you feel about people coming over uninvited?

Well I don't have any friends but if I did I wouldn't like it
And I live in my pyjamas and I wouldn't want them to see me like that xD

There's only been 1 occasion I turned up uninvited but that was to drop off some cupcakes so I guess that's fine lmao

I really hate when that happens, unless they bring food...that i like then leave immediately so i can enjoy it in peace. It's fine if its family since my grandma is a total clean freak + she brings her own food to eat too. I'm usually with a tied up messy hair bun + a headband to keep bangs out of my hair, so if anyone saw me like that, especially my friends id be really embarrased so id prefer if they did not stop by ever

I really don't like it! Unless it's planned, I don't like it when friends show up at my house. Especially if I'm in the middle of something, like browsing my favourite websites or watching TV... Because often, I just like my own space, which some my friends cannot seem to understand.

I hate it. It seems like an invasion of my privacy and interruption of my relaxing time, which I don't have a surplus of as I am literally always stressed. I have to mentally prepare to see people. So I find it to be rude and imposing. The ONLY exception is my best friend, she can drop by any time she wants. She lives 8 hours away and I would love to see her.

But if you're going to show up to my house uninvited- I hope you plan to feed me, because the only way to keep me happy at that point is free food. (Preferably something sweet)

I'm always worried that my friends might come over uninvited and I won't be dressed or have done my hair or whatever. I've told them not to because it makes me really uncomfortable when I'm not prepared to see people. If I'm not in the mood to be with my friends then I can't think of anything that fills me with more dread.

I hate it. I've gotten to the point where I'll pretend I'm not home because if someone can't show me enough courtesy to call first, I'm not opening the door for 'em.

I wish people would bring food to my house. Everyone always shows up and expects my family to feed them a three course meal, and then when we don't have anything to eat they get mad.

Basically an automatic friends-off situation unless they're carrying a ****load of food.

I don't mind if they don't make this an habit or bring food. Of course it also depends on who is coming over. If they're close friends I probably won't even care if there isn't food.

But I would appreciate if they called at least 30 minutes before dropping by.

I hate it, it's incredibly rude. One of my friends drove up to my house during the summer without me knowing to "hang out" but I was asleep so not only did I look awful, she woke me from my slumber. ((I was not v happy tbh...))

If family members do it, I try to make my replies as short as possible so they get the hint to buzz off.

only if its family and really close friends. my grandparents sometimes come over unannounced only because they dont have phones to call with. i have 1-2 friends who will come over without saying anything but its usually just if theyre in the area.

Well I don't like it but it can be good. I used to have a best friend who would drop by at unpredictable hours with food and stories and video games so that was pretty epic, but other than him I think I would kick them from my house and lock my doors.

I actually don't get why people hate this so much. I guess I'm just not used to it happening? Like, what's so bad with someone coming over? Is it that terrifying?

Heh, XD No but it can be bad if you're totally unprepared and like in your pajamas. Its mortifying when all you have on is along t-shirt and short short shorty shorts because you were planning on sleeping, then have someone come over all "howdily doodily neighbourino" and stare at you quizzically

hmm nope doesn't happen. no one knows where i live. o3o
//lives far away from all her friends

well the few people who do always call before coming so yeah i have no idea.
