How do I move out a villager?

So recently I've had Mira move into my town, but I was saving that spot for zucker. I've time travelled about 4 months into the future trying to get her to move out, but no luck. Any tips?

If Mira was the last villager to move into your town, it is very unlikely, maybe even impossible, for her to move out naturally. I think you may have to either Amiibo her out, although then you'll have the same issue with whoever you Amiibo in, or let someone else go to free up another spot.

Well if a villager just recently moved in, a tip I heard is to introduce yourself and never speak to them again, unless they want you to. I once used this technique and it worked! The long way is to kill them with kindness and a lot of waiting.

Yeah, my technique is to talk to them at least one or two times, and then just wait for them to ask to move out.

Basically, keep talking to your villagers until they start going on about rumours, they'll either confirm that no one is planning on moving out that day, or that someone is planning on moving out. This is how I got Pango to move more quickly, I listened out for rumours about villagers moving, got one about her, got her to ping me about it, and voila, she moved out!
