How did you find out about AC?

My friend had Population Growing on her GameCube. When Wild World came out I jumped on it.

I saw those ads for the gamecube game and I wanted it, imagine my disappointment when we couldn't really have a backyard like one of the people in the villager suits did.

Hahah i had that too with Mario Kart 8! I was a little disappointed by the game but it still is a great game!

I remember playing it for the first time and setting up my town. I started late at night so after doing all the chores for Nook I couldn't really do anything else. Was the Game Cube version a good animal crossing game? It looks very plain and boring in the trailers and gameplay i've seen. But maybe the game itself is better?

I played wild world like it was religion after my dad got it for me as a gift. We were building our cottage at the time and I used to pretend that my house in wild world was what the cottage may one day look like. I ended up losing it though and I was never really interested in the console versions of the game. A friend had told me that new leaf was coming out for the 3ds, and when I heard that I was sold! It's now one of my most treasured games.

Hahah same for me! But the first Animal Crossing game that i played really long was Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City for me! I loved playing via voice chat with the Wii speak, good times!

Villager made people know Animal Crossing and this is the result of not listening to him:
