I got Chaddar -- I was pleased before I knew everyone got smug villager, then I was kind of irritated that smug was my only choice -- but that had no bearing on Chaddar himself! His house is weird because it was a bathroom, but as far as designs go, lil Cheese Mouse is cute. He's since moved though.

My friend got Beardo. He still will not move.

I got Huck and I'd been wanting him for some time. I usually try to have different villagers in different games, and since I'd had Henry in New Leaf, I wanted to try having others. I had my eye on Huck, but when I saw his nose, I didn't like it. It looks like a big wart lol. I treated him as well as I could but when he told he was leaving, I accepted lol. If only he'd had Henry's nose...

My forced camper was... Tex. I already had 'em in my town for New Leaf. I like him, but I wanted to try out new villagers. He moved out just recently.

I got Zell. He seems pretty popular with some people but I was indifferent. He wasn't ugly but he wasn't my favourite smug either. He ended up being the first one to ask to move out but now I wish I hadn't let him, I haven't had a smug in town for a long time. lol

I got Quillson and I was livid. I tried TTing forward to see if he changed. I couldn’t believe I was forced to move him in.

But... It was because of him that I learned villagers sing in this game. He sang constantly and it was... dare I say... cute. But he still had to go lol.

My forced camper was Lionel. I really didn’t like him at first. Something about the lion design rubs me the wrong way, and I had heard he could be a bit... weird. But he’s been nothing but a gentleman, and makes the best furniture DIYs on the island. I got 2 ironwood recipes thanks to him, so he’s definitely grown on me
