I got Quillson. I was furious. I hate him. Out of all the smugs I hate him so much. He moved out after like 7 other people. Ugh.

My girlfriend had him in her New Leaf town and we both despised him. One of her friends left an inappropriate shirt at her Able's and of course he chose to wear it... I hope somebody out there likes Quillson because we don't...

My first camper was Eugene, and I was really happy about it. There's so many smugs that I knew I would have despised if they moved in, and Eugene was actually pretty cute. But then, he started to get on my nerves... He always changed into this ugly red and black striped shirt that I couldn't stand, despite however many times I complained to Isabelle. His default leather jacket looks really good on him, and I wanted to keep it that way. Then, he was always getting in my way when I was terraforming. No matter where on my island I was working that day, he always seemed to be there too. He always gave me DIYs that I already had, furniture in colors I would never use, and clothes that I would never wear. I eventually was able to get him out with the campsite method and gave him to someone who had him as a dreamie. I couldn't stand him on my island, but I'm really glad he went to a loving home! 
Lucha was my forced camper and while I wasn't really thrilled at first, the flirt that he is made me laugh and I'm really liking him a lot more now.
Story is below:
I had a thunderstorm on my island complete with lightning and all. It was at night and so besides myself, only Fuchsia and Lucha were wandering around.
I happened to talk with Lucha right when lightning struck and he said, "If you get scared, don't hesitate to leap into my arms." After that, he said, "I won't be able to protect you in any way, but it might look cool."
He said it with a smirk and I had a good laugh at that.

I had Keaton. I was very neutral to him at first. Over time he really grew on me. He had alot of personality. I did recently let him move since he gave me his photo. I was kinda sad after, but I will probably be inviting Keaton back after I get to experience a few other smug villagers that I find interesting.
Burn in hell HenrySo I'm getting the first camper that has to move in tomorrow. On my previous island my first camper was Raymond and that was great, but I'm not at all expecting that to happen again. I like only about 3 or 4 Smug villagers in this game and I'm so afraid to get someone I really dislike tomorrow since I've vowed to play day by day. Even with amiibo, I'll be stuck with whoever I get tomorrow for a while. Just wanted to see how others faired while I wait for tomorrow to come. Also pray for me lol.
Edit: So I got my camper... It was Hans! I'm not thrilled but at the same time I'm super relieved that it's not someone I dislike. Hans is middle of the road for me. He won't be permanent but we'll get along for now
colton!! at first i really didnt like him and i ignored him before learning that that doesnt help them move any faster... i dont hate him or love him !! i think his outfit is really silly but fits super well. since he is smug he really doesnt get along well with basically my whole island, so he creates some interesting drama.............keep trying to praise ur ego around 1000 lazy villagers buddy. keep trying.
