How did you feel about your "forced" camper? *Got my camper today!*

Mine was Tex, a smug penguin. He was fine I guess, but he asked to leave of his own accord last week, and I didn't stop him

That was mine and every day he was in my village I hated him more. Him never asking to leave is what made me start TTing

Exactly what happened to me. I like most of the birds' designs in the game; however, he was one I really didn't. lol
Also, I can't stand wrestling or boxing, so his house interior was not my fave. But I didn't have his amiibo, so I thought it'd
be fine to have him for a while. Now that he's gone, I don't really miss him.

I absolutely love boxing and wrestling. Still didn't like his house. Did you ever talk to him when he was in his house? He slept in the ring!

I replaced him with Julian. No regrets.

I got Quillson as my smug camper. I was... pretty upset. Eventually he grew on me though. I started out by giving him funny outfits every day to make his appearance a little more bearable, eg. funny glasses or huge shades and silly outfits. Ironically, because of this I probably have the highest friendship with him haha. When he asks to move out I will replace him with Ken. I'll admit I will be a little sad to see him go.

Tansan will not be the same without Quillson. He's reached celebrity status.

I got Graham. He somewhat grew on me, but not enough to keep him. I would put him in these really dweeby looking-glasses, and it was sort of cute, but I know I didn't want him, and eventually gave him away to someone.

I took so many pictures of that lil dweeby hamster.

I had Graham. I was gonna kick him out at first, but I decided to give him a chance and he grew on me. He’s so round and small

My forced camper was Beardo. He's... OK, I guess? Don't really like him, but don't really hate him either. Would have preferred Eugene or Jacques as my first smug, though.

Yes, I talked to him in his house a lot. When I visited, he mostly just walked around, if he wasn't crafting. I gave him a red double sofa,
& I caught him sitting on it once, eating a sandwich. Never saw him sleeping or dozing at all, much less in the ring! lol

I wish it was julian but it was tex who ip thought I'm gonna get rid of immediately but I actually like him a little bit cause the way he talks is cute and his house is awesome for like a band in an igloo still I dont think I'll keep him if he wants to go

Mines was Jacques. I liked him but I love him now since he's so cool and hip (also mysterious since he knows nearly everything or is up to date.)

i got eugene, and hhh could've been worse! he definitely grew on me a lot over time, because i gave him silly round glasses (his eyes are so cute LOL) and he was always walking around singing in the plaza. eventually he decided to move, and someone who really wanted him came to adopt him, so it's a good ending.
miss you eugene, hope you're living happily!

I got Huck and I kinda liked him on my very first playthrough but after remaking my island twice he showed up every single time and he just annoys me now. I don't know how I ever thought he was cute either OTL he was always the first villager I kicked out with an amiibo hehe

I had Phil and I didn't really like him, over time he just wouldn't. leave. so I grew to hate him haha. maybe I should've given him a chance and talked to him more but he asked to move today so no complaints from me

I got Lucha. Apologies to anyone who likes him but I couldn't stand his wrestling mask.

I tried my best not to talk to him, only did when he was crafting. One day though, I went into his house and he was sick. I... I felt too guilty leaving him like that so I helped him out.

Luckily a few days after he asked to leave and I was like YES PLEASE!

Considering it was Raymond, I can say I was pretty pleased hahah.

I got Shep. It wasn't that I hated him. He was just not my preferred Smug villager, I mean it definitely could have been worse, considering there are other unpleasant options (*shivers at the thought of Beardo*)

Well I was disappointed but then again I was like whatever you're leaving at some point anyway. And he was actually the first villager that wanted to move out in just a couple of days of moving in.

I got Pietro. I read somewhere that he's the villager who 50% love and 50% don't. I'm in the latter.

i got pietro! there are very, very few smug villagers i like and honestly out of all of them i wasnt too mad about pietro. i’m not afraid of clowns nor do i find him all that ugly, he’s just not my cup of tea. honestly at first i had no idea you had to let your first camper move in so i kept him in my campsite for like a week hoping he would leave eventually before i found out that he had to move in. i was happy to give him to someone that actually wanted him when he left!

When I walked into my tent and saw I had to invite Beardo I went EWWW but he definitely grew on me a lot, I’m converted lol. The smug personality makes him seem like a dorky middle aged man still trying to be hip and it’s hilarious. I let him move out recently but I miss him, I think I’ll bring him back and let him replace Pietro as my smug (since I’ve had Pietro in NL for years and years) sometime after I get Pietro’s pic.

I got Colton who I wasn't very fond of at first, but I really grew to like him! He was adorable! I'm glad I had the experience of him being on my island for a bit.

Chops. I... wasn’t pleased. But he’s really grown on me; to the point where I’m dreading the day he asks me to leave because I know I’ll let him and I’m really gonna miss the guy. Pig. Pig guy.
