This is excluding things like coffee, iced coffee, or hot chocolate. When you drink water, soda, juice, lemonade, etc… how cold do you like it to be?

I prefer my drinks to be ice cold. Anything below room temperature is a no go, as that just tastes gross to me. I normally put my drinks in the freezer so it can freeze a bit. I will drink it when it becomes icy, but not icy enough so the liquid gets pushed out. As I mainly drink bottles and cans, it’s cold enough that I can drink the whole thing.

I like my drinks cold out of the refrigerator, without ice. Ice is fine too, but my preference is cold, but not icy cold (also not room temperature). 😊🥤
In a vending machine I came across and used, the drinks in the machine were 47 degrees Fahrenheit, which I consider to be just a little above room temperature. It was definitely fine in the moment because it was during a trip, and that was a drink that I strongly desired, but it wasn’t as refreshing as a cold one. I think most vending machines are just slightly above room temperature. Cold drinks are always more satisfying.

I prefer ice cold, but like S.J., out of the refrigerator cold and no ice cubes in my drink. I drink mainly pop and juice (need to cut down on pop 😅).

I also dislike actual ice cubes. When it’s hot out, they just melt and the drink becomes watered down. No drink tastes good when it’s watered down. :( Unless that drink is water, then I guess it doesn’t matter! 😅

I had to convert it to Celsius, and 8.33°C is not ok with me! 😂 I would like it at exactly 4°C (39.2°F). 😋🥤

I agree that vending machines are always warmer than a refrigerator!

depends on the drink and the day. obviously when a heatwave hits, i want my drinks close to frozen solid.

generally speaking though, just cold is fine. i have a mini-fridge in my room for this reason, although my strawberry water doesn't fit at the moment since i've had to buy the big bottles. (thankfully, nobody else drinks it so they're safe in the big fridge.) i'll drink said strawberry water at room temperature, but only if it started cold. lucozade and fizzy drinks are a no at room temperature unless i'm super thirsty, and everything is a no below room temperature, period, but especially those -- they taste vile warm. if i want a drink cold fast, i'll chuck it in the freezer for a bit -- if i'm not in a rush, i'll let about 60% of it turn to ice before grabbing it. i love when my drinks are kinda slushy lmao which is dumb because all my front teeth are sensitive.

my orange capri-sun that i bought yesterday is in the fridge... so it's bound to be cold... lovely :giggle:.... but the taste is so strong.. i don't like strong... that's why i dilute it :>

I like to put most of my drinks at the top of my fridge so that they are the coolest when I want to drink them. It erks me the most when my favorite drink, iced tea, is served with minimal ice. Ice is in the name of the drink!!! Put plenty of ice in it please and thank you. 😏

I like my drinks like how I like my coffee. Ice cold ❄ Its strange that I like my coffee and tea ice cold but that's how I always want my drinks. When I make herbal tea I first make it hot then let it sit for several minutes until it cools down. Brewster would hate me IRL hehe.

Ice cold drinks just taste better! Especially water. Completely different.

Also for some reason I specifically like crushed ice for melon soda...

It's got to be ice cold for me. In a restaurant, I like lots of ice. At home, I keep my fridge set a bit colder than most and that's usually fine, but if I want to refresh a drink that I've been working on a while, I'll pop it in the freezer for a few minutes. I love when ice forms in my water bottles. That's when it tastes perfect!

Imagine you're living in a country near the equator where it's not only sunny all year round, but also hot as heck at night. Imagine that there's no winter, no autumn, just summer everyday, every year.

Now ask me why I want my drinks super chill.

I actually like hot climates. I’m always super depressed in the winter, but only when I’m in a place where it snows. I would love a place where it’s summer all year. I do agree, though, that ice cold drinks are way more refreshing, especially when it’s in a warm climate.

I can't go too cold as my teeth are sensitive to cold (but not to hot). But warm water is just rank haha

I have sensitive teeth so I'm not a fan of ice in my drinks. A cube or two is okay but any more and my whole mouth stings. I typically prefer just above room temperature.

I like ice cold drinks. I love ice water especially in the summer and winter. After I get back from a long walk in the summer it cools me off and is extremely refreshing, and in the winter my mouth gets dry because of the cold temperatures so I start craving a lot of cold drinks then too, oddly enough.

Don’t really care to be honest / no preference. Though obviously I wouldn’t want something that’s supposed to be hot to be ice cold, and I wouldn’t want something that’s supposed to be cold to be really warm. If I find something like that I’ll just throw it out.

It depends on the drink. Iced tea/coffee, limonade, fruit juice, fizzy drinks, water = cold with ice.
Herbal teas, hot chocolate, cider= hot. Wine a little above room temperature.
While the night I take sips of room temperature or warm water, not to upset my stomach.
