I've done all three and that's the order of my favorites.
Only ever done private, but I'm pretty sure that'd be my order too. I would never want to go to public.

if you've only done private, and i've only done public, we're both equally ignorant on the topic.

wat.

I went to public school from Preschool all the way up to Sophomore year in High School, then I put myself into homeschooling! I just didn't want to deal with all the drama and bad things my friends and acquaintances were getting into! I actually graduated with a better GPA and found a nice job before their Senior Year ended! I went to all the things they got to go to like Grad Nite & Senior Trip only I paid for all my expenses and didn't have to rely on my parents! I feel more independent as a person and have had some interesting experiences in my life! I think you should Go For It! I hope it works out for you...you seem to have a good head on your shoulders if you don't want to get into the things your friends are getting into! Your mum should take that into consideration..... Good Luck!

Thanks, Faith. :]]

Honestly, I have no idea why I think pub. school work is hard. There is just something about it that confuses me, although, priv. school work I'm used to. Maybe that's it, I'm just not used to it.

I think public school has a lot of freedom, like the teacher's don't care so much.

My brother was in DMC and was playing patty-cake with the wall. If he would've done that at private school (well, at least at my old school), he would probably get expelled.

I like it when things are more safe/over-protective. Private school isn't JUST work. They are usually small so you easily make friends. ^-^

Of course that's what it is! You're used to a more hands on approach to learning, as well you should be! There are more attentive teachers and a better curriculum at private schools! It's so much better getting an education there! I wish my parents would've put me in private school! I probably would've excelled better than I did on my own with homeschooling! Oh well....they did the best they could, then I took my education to a different level myself by going with homeschooling! I'm proud to say that I'm self educated and no one can take that away from me! Public school was utterly boring for me! No one paid any attention....especially the teachers! They just let kids go from one grade to the next...more than half of them didn't even know how to read properly! ..... Just try your best and I think you'll do fine! :)

I've only done private school, and I like it. We don't have uniforms and it's not all just about learning (but a lot of it is), it's about fun too. And you wouldn't get expelled for playing patty cake, just yelled at. I like private school because it's small. We got a new kid this year who was homeschooled up until now, he's kind of annoying though. I haven't been to public school so I can't speak for it. I wish you luck with your home schooling! Are you going to be taught by a family member or are you going to hire a teacher of some sort?

I've done all three, maybe I just went to a terrible private school, but honestly this is my list
1.Homeschooling
2.private: disregard what was here I was kinda too harsh...
3.public:God awful in my town

I never knew so many people hated/didn't go to public school. I have gone to public school my whole life and have had no problems. I have friends, nobody is mean to me and I still get a great education (but my school is like the best public school in the state, so I can see how that could be different).

I wouldn't be able to do homeschooling. I need to interact with people and have a actual classroom setting with a teacher to get my work done and learn. Plus, I would have never met all the people I know now!

I would not like it i Just started High school/ secondary school (You might think its late for my age but in Ireland we stay in primary for one or two years more).
But i live the school.

The school I went to is the WORST in the state and the state I live in is the WORST in the country when it comes to school.
And a response to the interactions and friends and stuff:I never had any "positive interaction" at school anways, negative hell yeah. Friends went from 6 to 2...

So you can understand my beef with public school...

I know whatcha mean, Lilly. I still miss my friends back from '08.

Supposedly, my public school is the "best school" in the district. Bull. Crap.

And, Cherry, I'm being taught by my mom. She was going to get a job, but after her hearing about my problems at school, she's going to have to have a night job. It's all my fault :/

Yeah I can perfectly understand why most people think public schools are terrible. Most of them aren't that great and if my town had a bad public school my parents would probably make me go to private school too. Thankfully I am lucky :)

Thats Bull *censored.2.0*, just because a problem you have at school shouldn't mean she loses that job opportunity, >_> -sigh- I hate how public schools are like that.....

Why not teach yourself? :P

The one thing i hate about about my school is the lockers, I am lucky but when a person wants
to get to the one under you that's a problem. My coed is 78640.
But we are getting keys next year.

Try being tall and having a bottom locker surrounded by people who don't want anything to do with YOU and only YOU. I wish I had had a top locker >_> Lucky sonofa***** ...

Jason, I said that to my mom, she started laughing ;__;. XD

I don't really think it's my fault, but it's my fault I complained about it. If she didn't know, it would be okay. But, a couple of my siblings have already gotten into drugs/etc. because of that school, so it's not all a bad thing I told my mom.

Bleach, I can't even open my locker! DDDD:

I don't have a magic touch or something xD. I had to carry everything around, 4 binders, 4935843593423283 folders.

I had someone who literally stood staring in her locker daydreaming, mumbling to herself until I finally had to ask her to move. Bottom lockers suck. (y)

@Jas0n: I think after a certain age, you can teach yourself. But I don't know the homeschooling laws for wherever Lisa resides.

In my school they give the high lockers to the taller people, I am lucky I am tall.
And are you not allowed to change yours?
