here's my dilemma;
I got this game one 8/19/2014. my play time is 251:06.not terrible considering I got it 2 years ago.but then,about 3 months after I got the game, my d's was lost until about 2 or 3 weeks ago,so I came back to... everyone moved except eloise (my favourite character that's not a dream,a reality )
so imuch lost now. All the work,seems a nonexistent memory .

so do I restart and lose my things and eloise NOT TO MENTION STINKY,I JUST GOT HIM.
But ill get to expirience the game,

but in any case i think you should either try to experience new villagers or go through the 16 villager cycle to get everybody back. resetting is a huge thing

If I were you I would reset but find somebody to keep some stuff?
I can hold items for you in my cycling town, but no villagers?
I also reset my cycling town often so I know a bit if you wanna ask x

no, they didnt move out all at once, it was just when i came back i had like pretty much whole new villagers except a few(eloise is the 1 i can remember)

yeah but it can also be so refreshing and you can get a new map and start planning from the beginning and because you'll have more of an idea what you want your town to be, it's likely to be less messy and you can plan stuff idk

yeah i totally understand. in my opinion it's best to reset your town only if you don't think you can ever be happy with it. i don't think i could ever reset, my town's layout isn't the best but i've grown too attached to it to let go.

I wouldn't do it but that is just my opinion. There's always people that can help you get your villagers back that you like. I know they wont be the exact same ones since they wont know who you are but I know I can try to help you. If you let people know who your villagers were or who you're looking for we can all help. I know how upsetting this must be D:

but there's no way everyone could've moved out in the time you weren't playing. the game will only register one to move out (and maybe set another to move in) from my experience, regardless of the delay between playing. otherwise time traveling years at a time without stopping a mover would have far more adverse results
