Help: Tents on items??

So yesterday I spent all evening collecting the entire Easter set. I set the items down in my plaza to have my second character pick up today, just opened the game to discover that Katrina's tent has set down on top of pretty much half the set.
Does anyone know if they'll reappear tomorrow?? Or are they lost forever?

Edit: After going through everything turns out I've only lost the Egg Table and the Egg TV, but the question still stands.

If they're not in the Lost & Found section of the Police Station, then I'd say you've lost them. :/

Don't have a police station in my town so guess they're gone. Damn! Oh well, thanks for the answer!

They're lost forever, once an NPC sets their tent down on items the items are essentially deleted. Unless like the other two posts you might find them in your police station or villagers might have them. I'd suggest next time though if you do put items down you put them at the train station, because there could be a chance that the items might disappear from existence, and if you put them at the train station nothing can be put on top of the items.
