Heavy shower, no Celeste??

Today is the first heavy shower i've had. Idk if Isabelle announced it bc i wasn't paying attention (lol) but i noticed my villagers talking about it this morning. Indeed, it is a constant shower. It's 8pm.. i ran around my entire island about 50 times, even restarted the game. Celeste isn't here

Idk why that would be on your end, but I had that happen once because apparently K.K. Slider prevents Celeste from showing up. Or so I've read. I even had the message from Isabelle about the shower, but no Celeste.

Celeste used to be always at the beach for me. Then she started to show up only on the third tier.

Dude i checked every square inch over and over from 7pm until now.

Celeste isn't guaranteed to show up on heavy shower days. Also she can only appear on a weekday anyway, so that's probably why you can't find her.

I wondered about that.. i googled it and couldn't get a clear answer. I could swear she's been here on a weekend before... but i'm not sure.

You were right and I misremembered that bit about weekdays only. Here's an image from Ninji (who's the most reliable ACNH dataminer we have):

but yeah, she's not guaranteed to show up on shower days, so you were just unlucky

It's possible that you can go over week without Celeste. I've had it happen multiple times where I only had 1-2 light showers on non concert days and Celeste never showed. She is never guaranteed, but at max it's only once a week. She usually picks heavy shower days if you have one, but it's not a guarantee she'll be there at all.
