I haven’t hosted a contest in a while. I suppose it’s time.
I’ve been interested into mixing themes in drawings. This contest is on drawing haunted landscapes based on the Chihuahuan, Sonoran, and Mojave deserts. Your job is to draw and color a landscape set in the desert in the evening or at night. You can include an abandoned carnival, a ghost town, a haunted house, a cemetery, or whatever haunted elements you can think of, for as long as you’re in the desert.
You may also include Animal Crossing characters, which also includes your character or my character (see spoiler for references). My character likes to explore the desert.
As you submit your entries or view others’ entries, you must react with a

Rules
- You can only enter once. And entries are final.
- Your entry must be Mexican-themed, Southwestern-themed, or Western-themed. It should also include horror elements, and more importantly, it’s set in the desert.
- The only allowed horror elements are skulls, bones, skeletons, ghosts, zombies, and ravens. Dead trees are allowed for as long as they are natural and not monsters.
- Your entry must be set in the evening or nighttime.
- NO AI ART! There’s no beast more evil than AI-generated images.
- Your entry must be PG or PG-13 rated.
- Entries must be published before June 18th, 2025 at 11:59 PM EDT.

- 2nd Place - 1,750 TBT
