Has anyone tried using the "voice chat" feature yet?

I'm curious, does anyone use the AC voice chat feature in the Nintendo Switch app?
If so, how do you like it? Is it worth trying to use? I think it sounds fun to be able to verbally chat, but is it worth trying if (seemingly) almost no one uses it?

No. I tried it once with Splatoon 2 and it wasn’t very good. I find Facebook Messenger calls and of course Discord chats to be much better. I doubt it’s any different for Animal Crossing.

its okay.. I use is all the time with friends irl. It glitches out at times and doesnt recognize you're playing the game at least for me.

Discord chat is a better platform.

I haven’t tried it but seeing the responses, it doesn’t surprise me it’s as bad as it is. The whole app isn’t very good, in my opinion. The keyboard works just fine, but I would have liked to have a higher character limit.

I've used it with my friend irl, it worked fine the first time, but at one point it randomly ended and we couldn't get it to work again. I also had an echo issue the last time I used it where I could hear everything I said repeated through their phone.

Tried it around the first week of release. It was okay but now I just use discord because honestly let's admit it's superior in every way lol

It’s fine but connections can be a bit wonky. I’ve only used it with friends and we usually FaceTime instead.

It's just OK. Seems to glitch more with more people (just like Nintendo online services in general!) I find it more reliable to call my friends on their cell phone but it is nice to chat with multiple friends at once or to use with someone you don't want to share your phone number.
