Has anyone figured out the Game Chat button on the Switch 2?

I don’t have a Switch 2 yet but honestly that button makes me very very uncomfortable. I get what Nintendo was going with the idea but not everyone likes to voice chat especially while gaming. The optional camera accessory worries me even more.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but can you just not use them? I haven't used either function so would be interested to know.

Sure you can just ignore the button but the issue is it’s still a button on the controller and very easy to press and activate by mistakenly pressing it. I don’t like using the camera button on the Switch controllers and try to ignore it but I can’t tell you how many times I pressed it during a session of NH or TotK and I want to use the - Button but end up with unwanted screenshots. That’s the problem here.
You have to take the time to set up the gamechat feature. If you don't, it won't be an accidental problem. You dont have to worry @Captain Jigglypuff
