Its been a while since I read the books or watched the movies. How is it inaccurate? I dont rememberSo I'm rewatching the movies. The first one has a scene where Malfory went to Hagrid's house and find that Hagid has a dragon but that's inaccurate

I've only watched the movies since my sister was a huge fan of the books, but didn't have anyone to go to the theaters with. I didn't mind it since it was actually a nice tradition that we did throughout the movie series. Its been a while since I read the books or watched the movies. How is it inaccurate? I dont remember
You're talking about Fred WeasleyI've only watched the movies since my sister was a huge fan of the books, but didn't have anyone to go to the theaters with. I didn't mind it since it was actually a nice tradition that we did throughout the movie series.
I forget what film it was, but in one of them one of Harry's friends dies during a competition. The way he is so distraught over it seems like he is losing a friend he really adored, but they barely focused on that friend in the movies. Turns out this friend had a lot of parts in the books, but they omitted most of their scenes in the movie which really undersold his death and how upset Harry was over his death.
In Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone. Neville is the one knew about the dragon egg but Draco overheard them. They got busted at the tower where they were meeting Charlie's friendsIts been a while since I read the books or watched the movies. How is it inaccurate? I dont remember
I know who that is since my one online friend was a huge Harry Potter fan, but I had to look them up. It was Cedric. I could be remembering wrong, but it felt like they were only in the one movie where they died during the competition. Harry was so upset over it because they were really good friends, but that's only made evidently clear in the books from what I gathered. They didn't really get as much screentime as they should've if that makes sense? You're talking about Fred Weasley
Yeah it does and it was Cedric who died. I can tell you why I was only him who died in that movie and the bookI know who that is since my one online friend was a huge Harry Potter fan, but I had to look them up. It was Cedric. I read all the Harry Potter books in 8th grade and enjoyed each and every one of them. Even though it was an old series by now, I did my best to stay out of the spoilers online and it was worth it. It's too bad the author isn't really a good person anymore, though :<
I also used to have the three spin-off books (Fantastic Beasts, Quidditch, and Beedle the Bard) because I remember getting briefly fixated on the Wizarding World as a result, but I regret buying them because of the above. I no longer have these since I donated them to my local library.
Ah, my bad! It's all good!
I have this one good friend who I've known for over 20 years now, and she never read Harry Potter when it was at the height of its popularity, although at the same time she read tons of other books. We even discussed some of the other fantasy series back then. I always assumed it was because she's from a very religious family and that her parents probably forbade her from reading it, but I never asked to not make things awkward I guess.OK so very random memory but I remember one time I was at my cousin’s house and her cousins (related through her dad, so I’m not blood-related) were there. I was trying to be nice and asked the girl if she liked SpongeBob. She said her parents didn’t allow her to watch that.
Now, this was the mid-2000s, when SpongeBob was at its peak, so I found that weird. Then I asked her if she was excited about the new Harry Potter movie. She said her parents didn’t allow her to watch that, either, because the magic went against God.
I have no issues with religion, but that left me with nothing to talk about. What 2000s kid didn’t watch SpongeBob or Harry Potter? It shocked me.
Hi everyone,
Just a friendly reminder to please keep the discussion on topic. Everyone is welcome to share their thoughts and perspectives, whether they enjoy Harry Potter or feel unable to support the franchise for humanitarian reasons. At the same time, not everyone needs to share the same opinion, so please avoid turning comments into a debate or back-and-forth, and avoid veering into politics, which are no longer permitted under TBT rules.
Thanks for your understanding!
Have you just taken the time to answer the questions or just randomly picked them?I would be in Slytherin. I know. Everyone on here is shocked. My Potterworld/WW profile has me in Slytherin too. My wand is Elder with Dragon Heartstring and my patronus is a lion. There used to be an Ilvermorny house section but its no longer there. I did a quiz on Wizardmore and I got Horned Serpent. The questions were weird and I wasn't even trying to get HS but I think I'm more of a Wampus.
What do you even mean by that? You just answer the questions. Its better to immediately answer what first comes to mind. Example: What do you prefer? Hunt or Heal. I answered immediately Hunt. No need to overthink. Overthinking causes indecision.Have you just taken the time to answer the questions or just randomly picked them?
What I mean is there's some people who rush through answers and there's some who takes the time to answer. What do you even mean by that? You just answer the questions.
