Harry Potter

Its been a while since I read the books or watched the movies. How is it inaccurate? I dont remember
I've only watched the movies since my sister was a huge fan of the books, but didn't have anyone to go to the theaters with. I didn't mind it since it was actually a nice tradition that we did throughout the movie series.

I forget what film it was, but in one of them one of Harry's friends dies during a competition. The way he is so distraught over it seems like he is losing a friend he really adored, but they barely focused on that friend in the movies. Turns out this friend had a lot of parts in the books, but they omitted most of their scenes in the movie which really undersold his death and how upset Harry was over his death.

You're talking about Fred Weasley

In Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone. Neville is the one knew about the dragon egg but Draco overheard them. They got busted at the tower where they were meeting Charlie's friends

I know who that is since my one online friend was a huge Harry Potter fan, but I had to look them up. It was Cedric. I could be remembering wrong, but it felt like they were only in the one movie where they died during the competition. Harry was so upset over it because they were really good friends, but that's only made evidently clear in the books from what I gathered. They didn't really get as much screentime as they should've if that makes sense?

Yeah it does and it was Cedric who died. I can tell you why I was only him who died in that movie and the book
