hmm.. i guess you can be a hardcore wow player (by playing a lot) but wow is not a hardcore game (because it's repetitive and slow).

i would say hardcore games (the games played by hardcore players) are diverse and complicated, with a lot to do and a lot of dedication to accomplish the various tasks. a hardcore gamer probably has a lot of games under his/her belt and is able to adapt easily to new game genres and mechanics.

Yes, I totally agree. Harcore games are usually games with some form of a plot involved, and your mission is to generally solve it.

yes, it's strangely wii-like. i can see the nintendo is trying to unify its brand image through its two main platforms (handheld and TV console), but i think the original DS and DS lite interface are still charming enough. :santagyroid: :santagyroid:
