I don't think it's strange on guys at all. In fact, I think it's more unusual when guys don't have any hair. Mind you, if it's so long you can give it a name and style it, a little trim might not hurt. Otherwise, do what you feel most confident with!

This. I wouldn't shave off my armpit hair, I don't really want to look like a young boy. I already look younger than I really am.

But if you really want to feel good about yourself, just ignore what others think and do what YOU personally think makes you look the best.
