Guide for Gifting to Villagers?

Hey everyone!
I'm at the point where I now have a lot of awesome villagers I want to keep around for a while!
Does anyone know of any guides for what items to give certain personalities/species of villager that's updated for New Horizons?

Orrr is it not that complicated and they like everything you give them that isn't trash?

I honestly wouldn't remember any guide like that ever existing, so I guess you can really just give them anything. From what I experiences they are most likely to accept clothing like shirts, hats or accessoires and furniture over wallpaper and flooring. Fruits or self crafted items are always good as well. You could just think about what looks nice on them/their houses.

In my experience they most like foreign fruit? Always buying it for 750~650 or gifting me presents. always. yet with native fruit they don't gift anything back. so I think they like the present enough if they are willing to gift you back or pay you smth.

Yeah sometimes they give me items or bells in exchange for gifts or they just give me nothing at all. I'd assume they give you items when they love the gift, money if they like it, and nothing if they dislike it?

Last time I checked, Nookipedia had a nice reference list on what items the villagers liked in the past games.

I've been giving them foreign fruits most of the time.

Other than that, I gave Antonio a sleeveless shirt with a weight drawing (as he's always talking about muscles), sporty shades and a basketball tank; gifted Soleil with a silk shirt as it matches her imperial set of furniture; bought a doublet for Alfonso because he was at Able Sisters drooling over it; a combo skirt (I don't remember the exact name of the piece) for Felicity and, lastly, I gave Camofrog one of the two t-shirts I won as a prize during the fishing tournament, as he's always fishing on the pond located close to his house.
