Fishing or Bug Catching? (or balloon popping)

I really like popping balloons in this game. They seem to spawn fairly often and I can usually hear them no problem. I like the surprises it gives me. One time, I got 30k bells as I initially thought the max you could get was 10k bells. Aside from balloon popping, catching bugs is something that I’d also do. I always end up rushing to catch them because sneaking up to them isn’t enough to get them in time lol.

definitely fishing. i do it for fun, even though it doesn't yield many bells (and i do turnips so i don't need them lol). it's super easy and especially when done at night or early in the morning, has a soothing vibe. i got the 100 fish in a row achievement on one of my first days of the game so you can see where my priorities lie lol.

as long as i have a slingshot i will knock any balloon out of the sky. i'm always thinking i hear one and it's just my imagination ahaha.

i rarely go out of my way to catch the buggos unless i need them for my museum, i'm not very good at it. a curse on long locusts everywhere for jumping right when i swing.

Now that my museum is caught up, I really only fish/bug catch when I see something worth catching in terms of bells. Starting in July, I'll be fishing a lot again.

Bug catching. No guessing game and getting disappointed when it's a bass. I'm still really bad at catching tarantulas and scorpions.

I only do balloon popping when I am terraforming.
