After many winters without any snow, finally my garden is covered under a white carpet again today!! It started to snow in the afternoon and it made everything look so pretty! I've installed a few smart lights a month ago and put them to "Aurora" setting which made the trees look even more magical
As if my planned movie night with hot choco couldn't get any better! ❄❄

Lately snow has been pretty rare here too (sadly), I actually didnt expect it to still start snowing now =D

Where I live, winter has been getting milder and milder every year. It breaks my heart to see the snow forming where people don't normally see it. I mean...I'm happy that y'all get to experience it. And the photos are very nice. But...I'm sad that our weather is broken in this way.

It looks so cool omg :0 It hasn't snowed yet where I live. It snowed once last year but this year, there's been no sign of it.

As a Canadian, I find it amusing that you are excited and happy about snow haha. But no, it’s always good to find those little pleasures in life. (:

Your garden is seriously lovely!

We got heavy snow right after Christmas where I live, which is odd because usually it snows the most in late January to early February. It was fun at first but it stuck around for a week afterwards and made the roads super slippery, which turned walking the dog into a dangerous activity 😅 And now it's snowing heavily again! I can't wait for summer,,,

I get your feeling, and honestly feel the exact same way.
In my home country, it never snowed anymore for about 21 months until last Saturday, where it suddenly snowed again after a few freezy days beforehand, even if it was only there for less than a day, unfortunately.
I've noticed that the Dutch summers have also been ridiculously hot ever since 2015 (even if the most recent Dutch summer did have a very rainy July in the meantime, similarly to 2011, better imho), and I think those ridiculous summers are linked to those snowless, "mediterranean" winters somewhere, as well as both caused by that nasty ongoing global warming.
Atm I'm especially jelly at the Swiss people who currently experience the thickest layers of snow I've most likely seen, through which I'd just die to get a good, cool stroll and breather. :p

@_Donut_ nice photos btw, the light effects look gorgeous!

Exactly! Or the people in Madrid this year

Wow, your garden looks gorgeous with the lights 🤩 It doesn't snow very often where I live either. When it does, it usually doesn't settle because it's too warm or it has rained beforehand causing the snow to melt. Last time we got a decent amount of snow was 10 years ago lol. It was great as we got a few days off school and had snowball fights at the local park 🤣
