Something about that last room terrifies me .-. I have to say it's my favorite (and the Throne room ofc)
To me the "lost at sea" room feels a bit cluttered idk if it's just me, but it doesn't make me feel 'lost' but I know there's only so much room you can work with, especially with some of those items using up so much space...
10/10 would visit this haunted house!

this is so freaking cool!! for the lab i'd toss a barreleye on place of one of the unbrella octopai. (did this with my lab and little thing looks wicked) also tossed up a metal knife rack, and wasp/mantis/grasshopper head models on the walls but then again i was going for a mad doctor so idk if it would be scary. but definitely toss some web in a few spots and try (i say try cuz we all know catching the super cool/creepy animals is hard i mean it took me weeks to get all mine.) to snag like one to two barreleye or vamp squid as they glow in the dark. or the fossli skulls i forget what it's called but it "looks human" but aside from those tiny little things that honestly even without looks amazing i would love love love! to see this place!!
I will go fish for some barreleye! I had vampire squids in the harvey staging and had some but unfortunately sold em because i didn't need them then so we'll go diving for dracula. ripp sleep.
I want to add the fossil skulls too just need to find place for em. i might switch the western stone for the other gravestone and place the skull on top. I'll try it out.
lolz oh i feel ya on that my sleep is dead i wish ya luck those suckers are kinda rare or i just end up giving up and passing out. yeah i really wish we could set things on more stuff tbh but i mean they did do A LOT of upgrades from NL (like being able to put things in the middle of tables ect.) maybe try the zen one or the other stone and put the stone stool in front but match colors and place it? idk if that would look right though.

Hobowire, why does everything you build in new horizons end up being a masterpiece? 
and i'm totally just wondering this and not seriously contemplating it at all because that would be silly hahaha, but how much would you charge to decorate my a friend's whole island for them?
In terms of criticism, i'm sorry but I have to start a riot for not using a Skeleton in your literal haunted house. I feel like you could use some well placed floor lights to add emphasis in some places as well, like in the laboratory, or even a red one below or next to the raccoon in HECK (love the name btw) since then the floor light itself will be relatively well hidden and out of view. Also imo you should've added some zipper posters in with pietro's, in order to cause people to have terror-inducing flashbacks of the bunny day event.

lol..ty... im only good with interiors. i got bored the other day and started ordering cardboard boxes while i was farming. I wanted to build a fort but it turned out looking like a homeless shelter.
i will try the floor light in heck. i tried putting skeletons but the gf kept playing with the arms. lol. squeezing in a skeleton or two in the lab would be a great idea. I have exactly two tile space free. lol.

Just visited! I was really excited to see you uploaded your dream address since I remember saying I hoped you would upload before we even got this feature.
I have to ask... what did you use to get the sound in the back room? The place with the mermaid sofa? I absolutely adore the room and the sound design in it makes it super eerie!
The frog room and basement are superb too. The feeling of dread you built up in the basement especially with the constant clacking sound is just incredible. I wonder how it would sound if you put a single metronome down there?
I think out of the rooms the only one that didn't totally floor me was the main room. It's still splendid but it feels like it's missing something.
Overall though, highly recommend visiting the haunted house. It's a real treat.

I used gears in front/back and showers set only on the back wall so when you approach the throne it becomes louder.
In the basement there is a very subtle pendulum crack of the newton's toys. if you squeeze between the lockers you can turn on the blender for a meat grinding effect. I will try the metronome
I agree. I tried to simulate an effect based upon the wallpaper stormy night. I attempted the full graveyard and it didn't wow me. eventually i decide on a duality of a happy playground directly outside to the grim one indoors. The room still felt bare so I added Pietro posters to give it a little definition by playing on some's fear of clowns.
